I hate funerals and I hate the idea of burying dear people and let them there, under the ground alone, forever.. Just after we buried him and went back home, there when we realized that there's no Finn around and where were we? At Anna's house. Funny, right?
The victory cost us Finn.
One more funny thing; everyone had their own emotions about it. Me and my warriors were depressed as hell, Leo and Carla went back to their castle and the rest of Infenyans were celebrating the victory and the disappearance of the plagues. Yes, as I assumed, it was Tsillah's.
I always thought after getting the witch down and bring peace to Infenya, I'd go back to my realm and leave my team safe with Finn, he knew everything and would definitely promise to watch them for me.
But Finn wasn't here anymore, I couldn't let the kids by themselves. I had at least to see what they were going to do with their lives.
I didn't allow them to leave Anna's place and help Infenyans to rebuild their kingdom again, because no one admitted their hard work, no one thanked them. So just for the sake of their self respect, I told them that my last order as their leader was to stay with me at Anna's till Infenya would rise again then it'd be my time to leave.
"Where to?" Chan wasn't going to let me go without telling her the story. "I didn't want to ask you because we all were exhausted the last days, but please tell us your story now."
I sighed. "There's no escape from this, huh?"
She shook her head.
"Okay," I finally gave up. "Bring the others."
It'd be the last time I tell this story, then after I leave, I'd erase it completely from my head like it never happened. I honestly wasn't excited about leaving but I had to.
The kids gathered in a circle where I was the center. I shouldn't call them kids anymore, they were about to know my actual age, that I'm just couple of years older.
Okay, how to start, the moment I just popped up in the forbidden forest, no that's not it, I took a deep breath and said. "First, my true name is Diana."
"I knew your name wasn't real" Chan jumped out.
"How!" I asked.
"You tend to ignore us when we call you sometimes." Allie answered.
Right, I did.
"Anyway, I always wanted an adventure for myself..." and carried.
They were extremely shocked when I said I came from another dimension. They had hard time getting this part.
"Is it something like parallel worlds?" Enus asked.
"That doesn't exist, you little ridiculous thing." Xeno replied and both were going to kill each other if I didn't interfere.
"Enus is right," I shouted so loud. "But I like saying that I traveled in time. Tsillah brought me here, so both of you shut up and let me finish the story."
I carried in talking and every time I was like whoa I lived all this here!!
Till I reached the part after Anna had died and Leo had to explain few stuff because after that, things got really awkward.
I took a deep breath and watched their deep concerned faces for a second, they looked so cute waiting for the tea to be spilled. I couldn't even spill it correctly, so I said. "There was something between us_ um, I'm the runaway queen." I joined my hands together waiting for their tense reaction, but they just watched me back.
