"The whole kingdom is crazy about the party." Anna said as she put her groceries on the table.

"I know, right," I replied without taking my eyes away from the book I was reading, I found it on the shelf in her shop. I didn't leave the house for two days because I was extremely tired and wanted to relax, it was boring at first since I had nothing to do but eventually found this romance novel.

She glanced at me. "It was my mother's favorite book."

"I can see why."

"You're here for two days. Aren't you bored?"

I waved the book up. "I have this."

"Yes, but we need to get ready for the party," she pointed at what brought with her. "Look, I started to make this."

I closed the book and put it on the table beside me. "I'm not sure whether I should go or not."

"Why is that?"

"I mean the king will be there, I'm nervous. What if he starts to act like his son did the first time he saw me?"

"Like Leo," she laughed. "No he won't notice you, you know events like this never happened since the queen died. It's a golden opportunity, especially that you and the warrior are the reason of it."

"Do you think so?"

"I do, now hold yourself and let's get you a gown. Carla will be here in moments."

I smiled and helped her to clean the kitchen and arrange the stuff she bought. Few minutes later I heard a knock on the door.

"I'll get that." I said as I headed toward it to open it.

"Hey!" Carla shouted with her arms wide open.

"Carla!" I called in excitement.

"What? did you miss me?"

"Of course I did."

"You disappeared for two days, so I thought of passing by and make sure you're fine."

"I'm fine, don't worry." I opened the door widely for her to get in.

"Where's Anna?"

"Here" Anna answered from the kitchen.

We all gathered in the living room talking about everything and in the end, the party.

"I've never seen Infenyans this happy," Carla said. "They radiate optimism now."

"It's not the party," Anna replied. "It's Finn's discovery, he gave us hope that soon we'll live without the fear of phantoms."

She nodded. "Yes," then looked at me. "Diana, you're going, right?"

"Sure," I replied. "But not sure what to wear."

"Can't wait to see you in a dress." Anna smirked.

"Ugh, don't remind me," Carla rolled her eyes. "I'm obliged to."

"I understand that you don't like dresses, Carla." I said.

"Not for me, even when I used to live in the castle Finn and Leo called me brother when I dressed like them."

"Is he going? Leo."

"I'm not sure," she sighed. "His relationship with the king is not well."

"Anyway," Anna got up. "Let's go pick our clothes."

I never had a dress too, but didn't admit that because I started to borrow Anna's after coming to Infenya. It was a bit familiar for me.

Party gowns in this era, they should be like princess style; heavy, puffy and full of decoration. Could I handle that?
