War of Phantoms.

Chapter 23

Carla and Finn lead the way since Infenyans trusted them more and, well, I had no power compared to the queen herself. I just hoped everything would work as desired this time and the following battle would be the real last one. The plan was simply attacking Tsillah and her army in sudden because if they didn't know, they'd not be prepared enough to face us.

On our way in the forest, we came across some phantoms. At first this was pretty normal, but since when the giant ones started to hang out around!? They should be protecting their witch!

"Isn't this little bit suspicious?" I got closer to Finn to ask him

He already had this deep thinking face. "I know, this is not good."

"What do you mean?"

He studied the place uncomfortably then shouted. "It's a trap!!"

All the warriors stood still looking at Finn emptily, I knew that something was wrong but what was it? Something was missing..

"Where's Judith?" Finn looked back at me.

I looked around. "Isn't she here?"

"My team shook their heads while Jed answered. "You said she was with Finn before."

We looked back at Finn and he just denied that, that's when phantoms started to appear from everywhere making loud screams, all the kinds of phantoms just emerged abruptly. We were so confused to digest anything but raised our weapons high.

Something is wrong, something is wrong.. I kept telling myself, but what the hell was it??

Some moments later, Tsillah showed herself laughing like a psycho with her hands hanged in the air, and beside her Judith wearing a fancy dress.

That is the wrong thing!!

I glared at the girl in fear, because I thought she was hostage by the witch or that she was hurt somewhere but she just seemed fine, maybe brainwashed.

"Judith," Chan called walking her way. "What's happening?? Why are you there??"

Judith showed no reaction, except for a tiny grin on the corner of her lips.

She got dangerously close from them so I pulled her back to us.

So Tsillah and her army knew about the attack because she had a spy and this spy was Judith.

Whoa!! Just unbelievable! The time we had together, the way she made us trust her.. Amazing acting skills!

Just give this girl an Oscar.. Was I mad or disappointed?

"That's why we shouldn't trust anyone." Jed said.

Allie glared at him. "Should we stop trusting you now?"

"Hey, you two. Stop it!" Finn interfered while I was just standing there awkwardly, trying to put all things together, okay, okay just a minute, basically we didn't have any plan, we were just going to attack when the witch wasn't ready but our plan that isn't a plan was exposed by a spy who happened to be a member of our team. Good, I got it.

Judith, that bitch. I almost raised my bow and just shoot her, but the warriors behind me started to face phantoms, thing got messy and we found ourselves in this chaotic battle.

I didn't know about the others, I was stuck with the beasts that I forgot to check my warriors and the rest of Infneyans. I got beaten up, hurt and wounded but it was all okay because during this crazy journey, I remembered something that Anna used to say "believe, don't hope" so I wasn't going to hope, it'd be the last battle, I believed it was the final battle.
