Chapter 9

Alex Might, he sneered, "Lets have some fun." no why is he here?! He's supposed to be back in Bostin! Alex walked forwards and grabbed her chin, "Miss me" she yanked her chin from him. "Because I missed you, Bostin was so boring without you to be there." he stated and glanced to the other three. 

"Good job getting her to me." he told them, they gulped. "As a reunion present I brought something you're going to like." Alex stated, don't tell it's what I think it is. Alex snapped two others walked in Josephine's eyes widened and she struggled against her restraints, Phoenix!!!, Phoenix unconscious between the two other underlings. He was covered in bruises from top to bottom blood trailed down the side of his head, blood spatter over his clothes, no!, She opened her mouth to call for him, nothing but wind came from her. She struggled harder against the restraints.

"See? I knew you'd like my gift to you." the two underlings dropped Phoenix. She glared furiously at Alex, damn you! Why can't you leave Phoenix out of it?! You're problem is with me not him!! Trev, Dustin, and Calvin stood beside one another in fear.

"Mr. Alex sir, why do you want Josephine so bad?" Dustin asked after working the courage.

"I haven't told you yet?" Alex asked, they nodded.

"She doesn't seem like the kind of girl to hurt others." Calvin said.

"You're right she isn't. The truth is her brother did something terrible to my friends and I and it's something I can never forgive."

"But is she the one to blame for her brother's actions?" Dustin questioned, Trev nudged him. "I don't think that's fair of you to bl-" Alex started to walk over, Josephine glanced over to the three of them.

"What'd you say Dustin?" Alex said angerly.

"I don't think it's fair to blame her for her brother's actions." Dustin repeated he gulped, "Sir?" crap! Josephine activated her ability the ropes and the cuffs around her legs started to burn, come on hurry! 

"Did I ask for your opinion?" Alex asked.

"No. . . sir it's just that I-" Trev and Calvin were to scared to move, Alex activated his ability.

"You disobeyed me." he said, "You must pay." Dustin stumbled backwards as Alex brought down his fist. Free from the chair Josephine sprinted in front of the three of them, holding up her arm increasing the size of shield. The three of them opened their eyes Josephine's back to them.

"J-Josephine?" they questioned.

"How wonderful you broke free, but I've gotten much stronger." Alex stated, slamming his fist into her side the shield helped lessen the impact both Alex and Josephine flew to the side. Josephine skidded to the right,  holding her side.

"Josephine!" the other three shouted, she shot them a glare reading: Get out now!! Take him and go!They seemed to understand Calvin and Trev ran to Phoenix's side and grabbed his arms over their shoulders. Heading for the exit.

"I don't think so traitors!" Alex shouted.

"F*ck move it!" Calvin yelled, Josephine sent a blast of wind thier way giving them a boost, closing the door behind them as they left.

"You damn b*tch you just won't give up will you!" Alex yelled, she glared at him, no it's more like you won't give up. You're even worse then John was! He got the message and grew even more furious. Josephine's hand started to glow silvery red, and they charged at each other.

"Guys do you thinks it okay we left Josephine back there?" Dustin shouted catching up to his friends who stopped by a fountain. "She saved us and could be in serious trouble, we all know how strong Alex is, and he has a serious grudge against her." Dustin glanced back.
