The next morning. . .

Josephine awoke, changed into her uniform and changed her remaining bandages. She stepped out of her room her bag in hand, and knocked on John's door. No response, she headed into the kitchen and found a note beside a plate of eggs, bacon, and fruit. She picked up the note, "I'm heading out and I accidentally made extra food this morning and thought I'd give it to you." John's note said. She smiled, sat down, and ate.

.

.

As she walked by other students broke out whispering amongst each other, she ignored the whispers and continued towards the doctors office. She knocked on the door, "Come in." Doc spoke from the other side. She walked in, Doc turned around, shivers traveled down her spine, no matter how many times I see him I still end up with chills. Mind you this is only my third visit so I might be able to get used to him someday. She sighed quietly, hopefully I won't be coming here that often.

"Take a seat on the stool." he instructs, she sits down in front of him. "So what brings you here?" he asks.

" 'I just wanted to double check with you about my injuries.' " she said he nodded. She unwraps her bandages.

"What happened to you?" he questioned.

" 'I don't want to talk about it, I'm sorry.' "

"That's alright, you should've came to me sooner." he told her standing up. He whipped up some medicine then handed it to her, she drank it and started to feel better.

" 'Thank you Doc.' " she said.

"You need to take it easy today so don't go trying to stop fights alright." he stated.

" 'I'll keep that in mind.' " she stood up and left the office headed to her class. John was already in his seat, she took her place and tapped him on the shoulder. He glanced back, " 'Thanks for breakfast it was good.' " he returned his gaze out the window. She sighed then smiled, a few of the other students talked to her. The teacher walked in beginning the start of class.

After lunch. . .

Halfway through the third class John stood up requesting to use the washroom, and rushed out of the classroom. Josephine watched him concerned and fought the urge to go after him, she finished the test early and ran down the stairs and out to the gates.

John stood just outside the gates, "Sera stop talking about it, like it's nothing!" John shouted grabbing Sera's shoulders, "What if you had been found out? You're punishment would've been so severe not even your reputation or the Headmaster could save you." he said. Josephine slowed to a stop behind them. "You should've just told them the truth, the book was mine to begin with. . ." he said. "This whole thing started because of me." he told her. Josephine gripped her arm, John.

"None of that is relevant anymore. What matters is both of us got through this relatively unscathed." Sera explained, "This will be the last time we ever hear about "UnOrdinary"." she smiled, "When I come back after a month this will all be behind us." she told him.

"I guess that's true." John said with a smile.

HONK!!!

"That's my driver, guess it's my cue to go." Sera replied and grabbed her luggage, "I'll text you when I get home, say hi to Josephine for me and that I want to play another game against her sometime." she said with a wave.

"Sure thing, have a safe trip." he said waving back. The car drove off John remained still, Josephine walked over putting her hand on his shoulder. He jumped then glanced over his shoulder, "Josephine don't scare me like that." she looked at him saddened. "What's wrong?"
