"Clove!!" I snapped out as i look at my best friend, Abbie screaming and getting my attention. I glared at her as she rolled her eyes "you spaced out again" she said as i shurg and looked at them

Joey was annoying Link again as they talked about a girl from there class. Bonny was anxiously reading with his glasses one while Abbie kept threating the guys at our table

Growing up at Fillbergh, with the same people you see everyday you know you'd all eventually end up as friends one point or another. I couldnt stop spacing out about what happened last night. It was so sudden but i still remembered it

"Clover Alder Rifes!!" My mother called as i groan and rolled out of bed. I went down the stairs seeing my mom cleaning, my eldest sister studying for her up coming exam, my father busy fixing our broken clock, i walked up to mom

"Mom?" I asked as she turned to look at me. She smiled as she dropped the broom and washed her hands

She walked her way to her bag and taking out some money as she handed it to me. I looked at her crazily, what was this woman ploting

"Would you be a dear and buy some ingerdients for me, sweetie?" I glared as she gave me an innocent smile. I knew it, somethings up

"Mooommm!!" I groan as i did some puppy dog eyes to whoo her to not make we walk late night for her baking business

After mom retired after she got sick, she made a habit to bake goods late at night so that the next day we could sell them. And i hate going out at night. Call me a pussy all you want but apparently murder is very common on the news today even if its on the other side of town, but still

"Oh come on, Al!" Oh no, she called me with my middle name nickname!

"Why me?! Why not Sage!?" I said pointing to her as she glared at me

"She has exams coming up and you know your sister, no ones pressuring her but she kept pushing to be on top" she explaines as i sighed

"Gale & Kale?!" I asked, sounding desperate at my mom.. i really wasnt in a mood to walk out

"Clover Alder! Your siblings are too young to walk out alone!" She cried

"Theyre twins! Which means theyre two mom!" I explained already desperate

"Theyre still babies!" My mouth just legit drop, argh!

"Theyre 12!" I explaines

"Still babies" she replied

"Im 15 mom! That means im still a baby!" I said

"Youre a teenager!" I groan as she said that.. she's really pushing it

"Spruce?" I suggested, she'd probably ask him than me "he's 18"

"He's at a friends remember!" Sage screamed from the living room as i mentally groan

"Dad? How about dad! Dad?" I called as we looked at him from the kitchen to the living room as he look at us

"Sorry sport, im not yet done doing this damn clock! Besides, you know i know nothing about those baking stuff" he explained as he continued fixing the broken clock

Of course mom knew that. She always know! Why am i even that surprised. Between all her children, she knew id say yes eventually being the middle child.. and i thought the middle child has no role in the family, that they have all the freedom that none of the other siblings get but nope! Im stuck being the home boy!

I sighed as i lookd up at my hopeful mother and took the money from her hand. She smiled as she holed both my shoulders looking at me. It cant be help, if i was desperate, my mom was worst

"Arent you the sweetest, Clove!" Mom said as i cringe and she starts to hug me tightly. I pushed her away from me slowly as i glared

"If something happened to your 'Dear Sweet Clove' tonight, i blame you!" I said as i went to the jacket rack taking my navy blue hoodie

"Aww, Clove.. dont be so negative, i'll give you extra cookies and brownies!" Mom said trying to manupelate me with her motherly talks as i think it through

"Can we have extra cookies and brownies?!" Both Gale and Kale said in unicent who was looking at peeking at me and mom

"No" both me and mom said together as we laughed

"Too much sweets are too bad for you boys, youre all too young to eat that much sweet!" Mom said as they showed their selves to us as they groan in annoyance

"I cant wait to be 13 and eat all the sweets!!" Gale said as his twin nods

"No you wont!" She said as she walked towards them and pinching their ears as she takes them to their rooms

I snicker as i walked out and made my way to the nearest convinent store at our town. As i walked inside i bought mom's baking stuff and bought some other stuff for me. As i payed for everything, traffic started to happen and the roads were jam packed. I sighed as i decided to make my way to the short cut

"You sure?" I heard a voice as i was nearing a tight area

"Yes.." as i heard the voice my back felt cold. And it wasnt because of the rain that just happened. Its a guy's voice. Cold enough to kill people with it

I was nearing the voices when i heard a loud squeal but one one would probably hear it cause of the noises. I stop when i realize what was happening and witness-

"Clover?" I blinked as i looked at Bonny who was adjesting his glasses as he looked at me

"Yeah?" I asked as he packed up his stuff and stands up

"Lunch is almost over.. arent you coming?" He asked as i notice a few students wete left at the cafiteria. I nod and walked with him

I was nearing our classroom when someone grabes me. I looked at who it was and almosted screamed

"Joey!" I said as i punched him

"First of all.. ow!" He said as he rubbed his arm where i punched and pouted "and second... what the fuck is with that face?! Its like you saw a freakin ghost or something!"

"Do i?!" I asked as he nodded and looked at me confused. He then suddenly pulled my face closer to his face

"Are you high or what?!" He asked not responding as i was just looking at him shoch with large eyes

But before anything else, Link showed up out of no where punching Joey by the last. Joey glared as Link glared harder

"Dude! What the fuck!" Link said to Joey as he checked on me

"Oh dont be such a sissy, RUBY" Joey teased as Link was pissed and started chasing Joey

I laughed as i continue to make my way to class when i was pulled again and was pushed to a wall in an empty room, no chairs, tables, trashes... nothing. I rubbed my neck and glared at who decided to pull me and pushed me too hard by the wall. I looked up to scream

"Hey whay the-" i looked and studied the face of the person in front of me with a smug smile by his face as i realize who exactly he was "-fuck"

He smirked as he lifted my chinn and studied me. My body tense as he touch me. I dont know how to react as he smirked wider
