Chapter 25

I woke up extra early, even my sister isnt up yet. I had to drive my way to down town. As much as i didnt plan on leaving my home town so damn early it was the only way i could think of. I packed my things and quietly made my way to my car

It was a long and quiet drive, but my mind was loud as ever. Apparently after i got home, Benterbin as been streghting there security. Which is good, though they kept wondering how the killer killed all its victims.

I finally got to the small cafe, where we always talked. I breath in as i walked inside. The smell of coffee and bread slapped me as i walked in. I smiled as i look around

"Gray" i said as i sat in front of him. He looked up smiling as he ushered me to take a cookie or biscuit. I smiled but i wasnt here for that "thanks.. but i want the information, Graivian" i said seriously as he sighed

"Whatever this is.. dont do anything stupid, Alder. Please" he said as he handed me two files. One in which tells something about Bonny's involvement "Boniel" he started as i looked up "was said to have a connected called 'Shannon'. Ive ask some friends to find more about this 'Shannon' and said its a community of dealers" my eyes widen as i listen while looking through the file when something caught my eye

"Crowan?!"

I said rather loudly as Gray stopped talking as he looked at me surprised but wasnt all that shock. I looked at him confused as my mind was spinning with all the revelations. I stared at Gray

"You.. do you that?" I glared my eyes as i looked away as he sat there with the same expression
That? Gray doesnt sound right

"No.. of course not. The name just sounds stupid" i said asi closed my eyes as he sighed in relief. I open my eyes looking at him through the side of my eyes. Gray what do you know, what exactly are you hiding

I shook the thought as i opened the next file as he continued talking about 'Shannon and Crowan'. I read through the files, searching any connection each of these victims have and something kept caughting me eye. I read a few more and confirm my assumtions

"Theyre all..the victims! They all have attended Benterin School of Knowledge!" I said as i realize while flipping through more. Gray snicker as he look at me

"Well duh, Alder! They wouldnt be a 'BENTERBIN' victim if they came from another school, from another town!" He said sarcasticly as i rolled my eyes and push him off

"I mean from the same school" i tried to explain

"And?" He asked uninterested as i groan and showed the file

They only have two schools, Gray. Benterbin School of Knowledge also University of Benterbin" i said as he looked at me cockly while groaning

"And how does this relate to anything?" He asked sarcasticly with disinterest and annoyance

I showed him the files he gave me that showed there family members, school sections and involvement, activities related to anything "i meant theyre ALL from the same class!" I pointed to all of them

Gray looked at me with shock as his face slowly turned pale, i was curious on why exactlt was he acting like this "i mean, Benterbin is titled as one of our countries low populated towns and cities so.. there's a tendancy that the schools there have fewer classrooms so they have alot of students in them" he explained to me as i find it very fishy in my terms

"But isnt it fishy to have the targets all in one specific class?" I asked as he sighed and look through them as he showed me other students from  different classes

"How about these people? Theyre in different classes" he said as i took them out of Gray's hands as i look at each one. Trying to see any connection when i saw what i was looking for and smiled widely

"Theyre all friends.." i said as Gray just looked at me puzzled

"Ok so.. we have these ones that are actually classmates.. and these ones that are friends.. so what exactly is there connection?" He asked as i felt defeated. He was right, what exactly is there connection? Im back at square one

When, light blub. Ive read in a few articels and some info from both Link and Joey that Benterbin is also known as an open town. Willing to share any information even those from other towns or cities that had me thinking has i look at Gray

"Help me go to Benterbin, to find any information" i said strongly at him as he looked at me surprised

"Now?!" He asked all surprised as he fixed his file as i laugh

"What now? Of course not! Im busy later.. this weekend" i said as he nod in understandment as i think who else i should bring along for help. I thought of it but with all the people i know, this person is willing enough to do this in any way shape or form "and i hope you dont mind me bringing a friend as well" i said as he look at me

"I mean sure... who though?" He asked as i grinned widely

"Joey" i said almost laughing as his eyes widen but smirked at me

"Sure thing, i'll end you a location to pick ya guys up. Be there at 7" he said casually as he stood up bring the files and leaving me all alone

My smile faded as i sighed. I watched Gray leave as i sat there thinking deep. What ever it is i'll find the truth. And i'll also figure out what exactly has Bonny been involving with lately. I checked my phone and saw its almost lunch. I still had to go to school or my sister will kill me if she found out i skipped, again as i sighed

I breath in as my planner in my phone announced about the event with Kaffir i had to night. I sighed and smiled as i made my way to my car. Hopefully tonight will keep my mind occupied even just for a few hours. I sighed in frusration as i was about when i recieved a text

From:  Abbie Baby Girlly

Meet me at the gym

I sighed as i drove faster. I looked at my phone before i focused to the road. I was finally at school and made my way to the gym. I walked in looking inside, searching for Abbie as a voice spoke

"Never thought youd try cutting" i smirked as i turned to face my probably only female friend, Abbie

She smiled as she made her way towards me. As we look at each other i looked down, remembering Bonny all of a sudden as he held my hands, making me look at her

"If its about Bonny. His parents called his out and resting.. for now.. but Clove" she look directly at my eyes as i look away making her to make me look at her again "where were you? I know you Clove, whats wrong" i looked at her amazed

I suddenly hugged her as she jumped in surprised but also hugged back as i lean close to her. As much as i wanted to tell her everything, i couldnt for her own safety. I slowly pulled away as she looked at me confused as i sighed

"Whatever it is.. its out of your concern, for now" i said confidentlt as she looked at me, not buying it. Knowing was bothering me but smile instead and placed a hand over my shoulder as she pushed the topic away

"Alright... now lets go, or Joey's stealing again" we both laughed as i slowly looked away, ashamed

I wanted to protect my friends, and this was something i cant just share. What i know and witness, i could die and if they die, i cant let that happen. I sat next to Abbie, as always Joey and Link were agruing as we all ate our lunches. After the lunch we were about to leave when i caught Joey's arm as he turned to face me all surprised

"Anything ya want, C?" He asked me as i sighed and pulled him away somewhere that isnt so crowded

"Are you free this weekned?" I asked as he look as me confused

"Yeah? Why?" He asked confused and puzzled as i smirked

I explained to him my plan as he listen to me, not cutting me off or joking i between. He was serious, just quiet and listening to every detail as he agree to helping me

I smiled in relief. Joey had to leave as i stayed there, thinking deeply. I breath heavily as my phone showed me the reminder again as i smiled

Well, i have a party to attend too
