Jimin pov
I quickly scanned through the pages of the case file, looking to find any initial information that would lead me to believe it was a false case. I didn't notice anything contradictory or misleading in the file, so I decided we would investigate it as if it was a legit case. I packed the file up as I finished my coffee and rinsed the cup in the sink. When I finally walked back to the car, I was met with those two boys staring at me through the window with puppy dog eyes.
"Soooo what's the case? What are we battling today?" Jhope asked excitedly as soon as I opened my car door.
"First of all, our main goal is not to battle anything. The best cases are the ones that are just false alarms, you'll learn that eventually. Second, we don't know what the problem is because there isn't anything we really know except that there is a woman named Han Sunhwa and her daughters Han Nayeon and Han Seungyeon experiencing paranormal activity. They moved into a new house recently, but we're not sure exactly what they are experiencing. We'll have to find out when we get there," I explained.
They nodded and sat back in their seats. As I punched the address into the GPS I felt both of their eyes on me. I was used to demons watching me behind my back, but actual people made me feel anxious.
"Just out of curiosity, have either of you even seen a demon?" I asked as I started the car. They vigorously shook their head.
As I placed my hands on the wheel I felt uneasiness overwhelm me. The boys continued talking but their voices faded into the distance as I realized I was going into a new vision. I gasped in surprise as my mind transported me somewhere else.
Suddenly I stood in the middle of a dark room. A lightbulb lit up above my head, flickering on and off. I scanned around the room, turning around in a circle to make sure I wasn't missing something. The room was bare, but as I turned back to my original position I noticed three silhouettes.
"Who are you?" I asked.
I couldn't see faces, but I felt them. They were a bit powerful, so I knew they weren't spirits. These, these were demons.
The light flickered out completely this time, and when it turned back on the silhouettes were gone.
"Who are you?" I repeated, scanning the room for any more signs of life.
When I turned back to my original position there was now one silhouette standing where the previous three were just before.
"Who. Are. You?" I repeated sternly and clearly, as I raised an eyebrow and stepped foreword.
I felt a wave of panic flow through my veins. The energy surrounding this one..... was different.
The figure took one step toward me, and out of fear I took a few steps back. This wasn't normal, I didn't know who he was, but I knew this wasn't an ordinary demon. This one was far more powerful. He took another step, and another. Each time I responded by backing further away into the darkness. Suddenly he sprinted towards me, and as I rushed backwards I fell back into someone who roughly grabbed my shoulders. I felt the exact same aura with this one, but yet it wasn't the same monster. Before I could think, the figure holding onto me threw me down to the ground as soon as the other one came close to colliding with me.
Before I understood what happened I was met with a new pair of hands vigorously shaking my shoulders. I jumped so much that my hand suddenly laid on my horn, resulting in both boys covering their ears at the loud sound. Realizing what was going on I quickly removed my hand from the wheel and began taking a few deep breaths.
"What happened to you? You were like, sleeping with your eyes open or something," J-Hope spoke up, rubbing his temples out of annoyance.
I shook my head, "I had a vision. I don't think I can take you boys on this case, this is too much for me, let alone you."
