Jin pov

Was this kid crazy? Why the hell does he want to sell his soul when we're not even hurting the family?
I shook my head, "Listen kid, you shouldn't go selling your soul for something stupid like these people."
"Did I say I was selling my soul?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
His sarcasm made me growl in the slightest bit of anger.
"Sorry," he muttered once he heard me.
I relaxed my shoulders and collected myself, "Then what's your plan?"
"Can you please just tell him for me?" He whined. I held back my laughter. For a second he reminded me of my little sister. She was so innocent and smart, but also sneaky as hell.
"Fine I'll let him know. No guarantee he'll see you though," I sighed.
"Alright t-"
I disappeared before he finished, going back into the spirit world where it was dark and dismal, and peaceful.

"How was the human world?" Jungkook asked gleefully, waiting patiently in the middle of the door frame upon my return.
I shook my head in annoyance.
"Did you see Taehyung?"
I pushed him lightly out of the frame so I could walk through.
"I didn't talk to your little dumb human. Now, have you seen your oldest brother anywhere?"
He vigorously shook his head, "and id like it to stay that way too. He's probably in the basement like always."
"You shouldn't be so scared of him. He may be powerful, but I think he likes you more than the rest of us. He wouldn't hurt you."
"I havnt burned as long as you have Jin. The human left in me is still terrified of demons like him. It might not of been him directly, but a demon with black eyes like his took my soul and forced me into hell. He scares me, and I can't help it."

I walked over to him and placed my hand on his shoulder, patting it lightly. "Sorry Jungkook, sometimes I forget you still have a lot of feelings left in that body of yours. I'm gonna go talk to him okay? Go talk to Namjoon or something, just don't do anything stupid."
He smiled and practically sprinted out of the room in excitement. I walked back into the hallway and headed downstairs. The door leading to the basement was locked, and I couldn't deny I was slightly nervous. I tried to convince Jungkook not to be scared, but I never told him how powerful this demon truly was. He could send us to hell just like any exorcist, and keep us there. I didn't want to burn again, it hurt too bad the first time. I really didn't like talking to my boss unless I absolutely had to. I should just tell that human kid that he said no, that way I wouldn't even have to bother him in the first place.

As it crossed my mind the basement door creaked open. I crept down the stairs, not wanting to cause any commotion. I looked around the unlit basement, finally noticing him sitting on a couch. His eyes were closed and his head was resting on the back of the couch cushion. At first glance you wouldn't see him as any powerful demon. For never having lived as a human, he looked closely like one. He had black hair that was an average length, about to his nose, and he always wore a black hoodie with a black bomber jacket layered on top of it. He also was known to only wore black jeans and Jordans, making him appear as if he was nothing more than a simple dude in his 20s.

He definitely didn't appear to be someone that could murder at least 20 humans or lower demons with one flick of his wrist. The only reason anyone would even know he was a demon, is if they looked at his skin. Directly under his eyes were thick black diagonal streaks. Almost as if he was once crying black blood that permanently dried a few inches under his eyes. At one point I also noticed the marking on his forehead, a thin upside-down cross that couldn't be seen when his hair covered it. It was these few characteristics that sometimes made me wonder if he was possessing a host. However, I definitely wasn't going to be the one to ask.

I watched him closely as he sat there, but I was too scared to speak up. Eventually I decided to turn around and try to sneak out of the room.
"Where are you going?" I heard him sigh.
I turned back around and stared into the black void that was considered his eyes. There was no white, just soulless black that often made me want to crawl out of my own skin. I couldn't imagine how humans felt when they saw him. He blinked once, I jumped slightly back as they returned to human-like normal brown-pupiled eyes. I let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding.

To be honest I wished I could do what he did. You couldn't hide my red pupils, but he just had to blink and his scary black eyes were replaced with human ones. I sometimes wondered how easy it would be for him to blend in with the humans.

"Uhm, is now a good time?" I asked trying to not get anymore sidetracked.
He remained quiet for a few seconds. "I was just about to go lock a small human child in a stove and burn them alive, but I guess that can wait for tomorrow."
"W-What?"
Despite my lacking emotions, I still had a motherly sense to me.
A small smirk crept on his face, "I knew that normal humans can't take a good joke, but I thought a low-level demon like you would at least give me a chuckle as a response."
"Sorry sir."
"Yoongi. How many times do I have to tell you to call me Yoongi?"
I sensed the slight annoyance in his voice, "I'm so sorry si- I mean Yoongi."

"What is it you came down here for anyways?" He asked standing up from the couch.
He was only a few feet away from me when I found the words to say.
"Uhm. You know the family we attached to brought in some investigators right?"
"No shit Sherlock. I thought you were gonna take care of them?"
"Y-you mean kill them?" I asked, completely shocked.
"I meant get them out of my house. Can't you simple demons even do that?"
"I tried, but one of them is a little more.... spunky I guess? He wanted to talk to you specifically."
"How does he know I'm even here unless you idiots said anything."
"Well, Jungkook-" I covered my mouth. I didn't want Jungkook to be in the middle of this.
"Get him in here."
"He's just a kid, I'm the one who left him-"
"Just get him in here to talk."

Not wanting to argue and rile him up more, I ran upstairs and called Jungkook to the basement. He trudged down the stairs with me a few minutes later to stand in front of Yoongi, obviously a bit panicked.
"D-did I do something wrong hyung- I mean sir- I mean lord, I should stop talking," he lightly grabbed my arm and hid behind me.
"Did you tell the investigator about me?" Yoongi asked, but I couldn't read his expression.
"Well.... to be fair Jimin knew about you as soon as he stepped in the door. I just confirmed his suspicions..... please don't hurt me," he whined as he threw himself down to his knees to beg for mercy.
"Get off the ground kid I'm not gonna hurt you, and what do you mean he knew?"
"He said he's a demon psychic when I spoke to him, and it made sense because when I was watching him before and he mentioned to his friends that he could sense that there was really powerful demon in this house. I assumed he meant you."

Before Yoongi could say anything I grabbed Jungkook by the shoulder. "You can go now Jungkook," I whispered in his ear. He nodded and practically ran upstairs. Yoongi watched Jungkook leave before he returned his gaze back to me.
"Why should I even think about discussing anything with a human?"
"Well..... He said he wanted to make a deal with you."
"A deal?" I noticed Yoongi's eyes widened in curiousness, turning black for a split second before returning to their normal brown. I've never seen Yoongi so intrigued. That's when I realized, the kid might actually know what he's doing.
