Chapter 8

Jimin pov
:This is going to have the hanging scene, it isn't graphic but be warned:

After about 20 minutes passed since I left Taehyung alone, I walked back upstairs to make sure he hadn't got his head cut off or something. I knocked lightly on the door, "Are you dead yet?"
"No, but the demon left," I heard him say.
I grabbed the bottle of water out of my back pocket and twisted off the lid.
As I walked in and turned on the light I saw him sitting on the floor.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Uhm, it's Taehyung? Is this a trick-"
I dumped the bottle of water on top of his head.
He yelled in shock and sprang up off the ground. His mouth widened in astonishment as he tried to shake the water out of his hair.

"What the fuck was that for?!" He yelled as he looked over to meet my eyes.
I shrugged my shoulders, "just wanted to make sure you didn't get possessed."
"Why the hell would water do anything?" V asked, still annoyed.
"It's holy water, duh," I rolled my eyes.
"Wait, so you've spend the last two days telling me that I shouldn't believe everything in the movies. But now you're trying to say that holy water works on demons when crosses don't?"
"I don't make the rules V, I just help people get cleansed of demons. I specifically told you not to believe EVERYTHING you see in movies, but some stuff actually works. Holy water doesn't burn their skin or anything, it just brings out their demon form. If they're possessing a human, than the human's eyes will glow red or black, simple as that."

V groaned and handed the demon book back to me.
"How was it?" I asked as I put it back in my bag.
"What?"
"Uhm, talking with your first demon? Please tell me you got something I can use."
"I found out that Jungkook is a horror movie fan," V smiled.
My eyes widened, "you're calling him by his first name now? And you thought the most important thing to ask him was what his taste in movies was? What is this, A hookup off demon tinder?"
"Don't talk to me like that Jimin. I did get some things you might want to know. But give me a notepad."
"Why?" I asked confused.
"There's some things I don't want the other demons to hear," he whispered. I sighed and grabbed a notepad off the dresser to hand it to him. He grabbed the pen that was behind my ear and started writing. After a few short moments he handed the notepad back to me.

Jungkook mentioned his "brothers". He said that one killed themselves in the sixties, one murdered just about his entire family, and one he said simply scared him. I think that's the powerful demon you mentioned earlier.

I nodded and wrote my response.

That makes sense. Did you find out anymore names? Or more importantly, what they want?

He read it and began writing on a new page.

The one that hung himself is named Jin. But Jungkook said that we shouldn't try to summon him because that would anger him pretty easily. He also said we only had two options. If we get out of the house he promised none of the demons were going to hurt the family. But, if we absolutely need to get them unattached from the family, we have to talk to his "scary brother." He specifically said that you should be the one to talk to him too, because you have the best chance of surviving.

By the time I finally got handed the notepad I was shocked.

How the hell do I do that?

I scribbled it quickly and handed it back to him.

He shrugged his shoulders.

"You're telling me, you didn't even think to ask about that?" I hissed.
"He said he had to go, I wasn't particularly fond of the idea of trying to stop him."
I groaned and threw my head back.
If I wasn't supposed to summon Jin, how the hell was I supposed to figure out how to talk to the big scary demon? This family is getting tired of this, and I can't let anybody get hurt.
"Jimin? You're turning red?" Taehyung pointed at me. As he said that Jhope walked into the room. "Woah, Jimin looks angry. Don't tell me you didn't learn anything from talking to that demon?"

"I did, he's just mad that I didn't figure out the entire plan to get the demons unattached from the family," V responded, taking a few steps back to hide behind Jhope.
