Jimin pov

Since the demon boy so rudely disappeared before I could finish, I walked over and unlocked the bedroom door. The two boys practically tumbled onto the floor below me after having been leaning against the door. Jhope immediately got up and wrapped his arms around me, "I heard you yelling at the demon like a mad man and was absolutely sure he was gonna snap your neck before we got to you."
As he let go I was immediately hit with a huge splash of water in the face.
"What did Jimin do to you?!" Jhope gasped, looking over at Taehyung who was holding a bottle of water in his hand.
"I wanted to make sure he wasn't a demon," V said, mimicked the same shrugging of the shoulders I gave him this morning.
I chuckled, "I guess that's fair."
"Hey, Jimin's laughing. Wow, you're really starting to warm up to us aren't you," Jhope smiled.
"You're still complete idiots, but not unbearable idiots."

"So what happened? You must've had an amazing point to make for that demon to not cause you any bodily harm. Did you really have to joke about it committing suicide?" V asked.
"Demons, despite their appearance, are very careful creatures. They're careful of their words and actions. Usually if you make them angry they lose that control. That's when you get the information you want. This Jin demon didn't do that unfortunately, but he still agreed to pass on a message for me and I apologized so we're good now."
"Wow, never in any of my classes did I think that I could just yell at a demon as long as I said sorry for bothering it," Jhope laughed.

"I don't know why, but I've learned that the stuff that works for me doesn't always work for others. Demons just don't act up with me like they do with other demonologists. I think my abilities create some sort of a calming influence for them. That's just a theory I've come up with though to be honest with you two," I sighed.
"Well if you can get this big scary demon to leave this house, I'll believe it," Taehyung smirked.
"If I can get him unattached from the family without dying, that'll be an achievement in itself," I laughed.

I looked down at my watch and saw the time.
"Did I miss something, it's 8 pm shouldn't Ms. Han and her daughters be back now?" I asked.
"Oh they came back a while ago. They're getting their beds ready now I think. You must've been too out of focus to notice them come in," Jhope said.
I nodded, noticing I have been steadily losing my focus throughout the day. I didn't want to go to sleep but being around so many demons in one day drained me of all my energy.
"I guess you're right. What do you say we go to bed than? When I use my psychic abilities too much I get a little restless so it's best I get to bed as early as possible."
They both agreed happily, obviously tired as well, and after checking on Ms. Han and her family we went back to the girls' bedroom to get ready to sleep.

"Jimin?"
"Yes Taehyung?" I replied just as I was about to hop into bed.
"Do you have a bad feeling about tomorrow?"

I closed my eyes and focused deeply on my thoughts. I didn't have any visions today so that must've meant everything was on track to work out. I didn't feel any intruding negative thoughts either which was usually a good sign.
"Everything seems like it will be fine, why V?"
"It's just.... Jungkook said he was worried about us getting hurt if we confronted that demon. I thought maybe you'd have a vision or something that would let us know."
"My clairvoyant abilities follow the phrase 'no news is good news'."

As I said that, I looked around and walked over to sit between Taehyung and Jhope.
I whispered to them, "You wanna know why I do the crazy things I do boys? My abilities are a blessing. I can't say they're from God himself, but they have offered me protection through all this. My visions tell the future. If I'm walking into a dangerous situation I will know. The vision I received the other day let me know this house was dangerous. It acted as an initial warning. As I make further decisions, I get more visions. These are more specific. If my decision is bad, than I will have a vision of the consequences. If somebody's going to die in this house because of me, I'm going to see it far ahead of time in a vision alright? So don't worry."

They both gave each other an encouraging smile as I stood up and got back into bed.
We said goodnight and within a few moments of hitting the pillow the two boys lying on the floor fell asleep.

It felt like I was awake for only minutes, but when I checked my phone I realized it was 3 in the morning and I still had not fallen asleep. Eventually I rolled on my side and felt myself finally drifting off due to sleep exhaustion, but before I could pass out I felt a cold hand grasp my shoulder from behind.

"What's with demons and grabbing shoulders?" I mumbled half-asleep.
"Get your ass up, he wants to talk to you."
I heard that voice, and I knew it was the demon Jin, but it didn't register in my head quite as quickly. Honestly, I had no thoughts other than the thought of sleep.

"The number you are trying to dial is currently unavailable. Please leave your message after the beep and I'll get back to you at a reasonable hour," I mumbled with exhaustion, burying my head in my pillow in hopes that he would leave.

He let go of me, probably stunned. "Did you just send me, a demon, to voicemail without a goddamn phone? I don't think so," he grasped my shoulders once again and pulled me into a sitting position.

"Listen buddy, it has been a long night and I'm sick and tired of dealing with demons," I sighed.
"Isn't it your job?" He scoffed.
"I didn't choose this job, the job chose me. Now, can we do this in the morning?"
"How did you think of that?"
"What?"
"Telling him you wanted to make a deal. Did you know that would get him to talk to you?"
I rubbed my eyes and yawned, "Do you ever wonder where demons like him come from if they were never human?"
He raised an eyebrow, "I guess I never thought about it." He sat on the bed beside me, clearly intrigued.

"Well, demons like this boss of yours-Sorry I don't know his name."
"It's Yoongi."
"Oh.... " I thought for a second. "Well.... demons like Yoongi were born in hell. Directly created by Lucifer thousands of years ago. And when god-"
I heard a loud hissing noise come from Jin as I realized what I said.

"Sorry. I won't say his name again. Anyways, when he locked Lucifer up in a cage, the demons were left to create their own society. One thing they did was form their own currency. Human souls. You could buy whatever you wanted with them in hell, and just like demons were created to be, they grew greedy. The amount of human souls coming in weren't enough to keep a demon's greed satisfied. So... they went out and stole them. Eventually the big guy upstairs you don't like, threatened to destroy all demons if they kept stealing souls. Demons, as you should know, are very by-the-book creatures. They realized they couldn't "steal" souls, so they went out and started bargaining for them. They make a contract, use the snap of their fingers to give a human what they want, and within a few years they either have a new soul or a new body to possess if hell isn't their forte. The more souls you have, the richer you are in hell. Since demons are always after something that benefits them, they refuse to not show up to a deal. The curiosity gets the best of them, and they worry about missing out on something they might want. That's I knew he wouldn't be able to say no to meeting with me," I explained.

"I think I underestimated the capacity of your little human mind. How do you know more about demons than a demon?" He asked, slightly shocked.

"Ive been with the Vatican since I was a young child. They taught me everything about demons, and what they didn't know I learned myself. The other paranormal investigators didn't join the Vatican until they were adults. So they didn't get even close to as much learning or training as I did."
"What kind of kid is interested in demons?"
"I didn't exactly choose this route. But I'd rather not talk about it," I said, staring down at the ground.

"Yoongi's probably pissed that we made him wait this long."
I looked up, "Shit. We better get going than."
"You didn't tell me what deal you're going to make with Yoongi. If it's not your soul you're offering, what is it?"
"Don't you think he's listening? Curiosity killed the cat, so you'll just have to wait until he gets here. Now, is he coming to me or am I going to him?"
"He said he was coming to you, I don't know what's taking him so long."
As Jin finished that thought, the bedroom door creaked open.

A/n: I didn't get to update as much as I wanted to today cause I was organizing my photo card collection and got
