27 Me Like Yuh

Linka and Clare were still sitting at the top of the stairs watching the party rage on but this time the two girls were just a little tipsy, as they laughed at the people who were royally drunker than them.

"Oh no," Clare giggled out as a boy walked right into a wall and fell over the couch and passed out. "That looks like it's going to hurt in the morning," she said in pity of the poor guy.

"Hope he'll be okay" Linka agreed as they began looking for more wasted teens. While they were searching, a familiar beat came on that snapped the girls from their drunk teen spotting.

"Clare is this-"

'Yep, This is what we trained for Linka"

"Let's make go make our husband proud," Linka said as both girls shot up and practically flew down the stairs forcing everyone to make way until they were in the middle of the living room and looked like they were getting ready to dance. Random dudes lifted the table and placed it elsewhere so they could see what these two girls were about to do.

The minute they heard. I need a cha-cha beat boy. They began dancing.

While the girls where dancing Linka couldn't help but notice Sam and the boy she was talking to earlier standing next to each other and talking as if they knew each other. Sam had an irritated look on his face as the boy noticed Linka looking at him and decided to keep his eyes on her which she didn't mind. Clare and Linka wrapped up the last bit of their dance and finished with a bow as the crowd cheered there was no doubt that Clare and Linka's little dance showcase would be the talk of RoyalWoods High school and a few other schools Monday morning.

When the crowd dispersed back into the party Clare and Linka made their way to the front door where Clare's boyfriend Javen was waiting for them both, he had a cheeky smirk on his face as he walked up to Clare. "Woohoo, There's my girl, looking like she looking, dancing like a dancer. Aye Linka you know I taught her everything she knows"

Clare rolled her eyes as she warped her arms around his waist and shook her head. "Boy bye. hate to break it to you Ven but you have two left feet." Javens smiled dropped and he sucked his teeth causing both girls to laugh.

"Don't let her get you down Javen. No matter how untrue it is I still believe you" Javen laughed and nodded his head. "Thank you, Linka at least you humor me, Clare never lets me have my moments"

"Aww, Are you mad at me," Clare asked with puppy dog eyes. Javen bit the inside of his cheek and kissed her forehead. "Nah, You're to dang cute to be mad at. Come on I told your moms I'd have you home by 10:30 and it's 10:10"

"Boy! I sure did bag a catch. I'll see you at school on Monday Linka" Linka waved goodbye to the cute couple before going back into the house to party some more just as she was about to head off to go dance she was stopped by a random guy who looked oddly familiar to her but she couldn't quite remember where she knew him from, the boy saw the confusion on her face and smirked.

"I had a feeling you wouldn't remember me. My name is Micheal we met yesterday at school in the hallway..." He trailed off as he saw the little cogs in her head spinning as she pieced together the memory of who he was, and when she did she awed and nodded her head.

"Oh yeah I remember you now you're that JROTC guy with the pretty green eyes" Micheal smirked a bit and ran a hand through his hair. "You think I have pretty eyes?" He asked smirking. Linka turned to him and nodded as she rubbed her elbow in slight embarrassment.

"Yeah- well second prettiest someone kind of snagged first place right from under you" Linka joked, Micheal's eye's widened in fake shock as he crossed his arms and fake groaned making Linka giggle at his reaction.

"Aww jeez, just when I thought I had something going for me with the prettiest girl I've ever seen" Linka blushed and tucked some hair behind her ear as she looked away from.

"That's not true..."
"Oh but it is. No other girl holds a candle to you, you truly are gorgeous" he winked at Linka. The two of the chatted for a while and got drinks together.

At some point during the night Linka found herself making out with a familiar stranger who lead her up the stairs.

"Allow me to lead you into nothing but a world of pure desire, you'll never forget"

And without a conscious second thought she followed him into his "World of Pure Desire"

If only I had known at the time that Pure Desire would turn out to be a Horrible Nightmare.
