5 months later
After a month long honeymoon in the Maldives Chloe and Beca had returned home to start their life together with Alex. Soon as they got home though Alex was back at school starting third grade and although he didn't want to go back to school he loved having both of his parents there to wave him off on the first day.
Chloe was still working at her florist shop and was currently looking for someone to hire as an assistant so that she can look at stepping back and doing less hours in the future.
Beca managed to keep Sam as her manager, even though Sheila quit, which meant that she was still signed to the same record label. For the last couple of months Beca has been busy designing and supervising the building of a new house that she has had built on the edge of town.
Once it is built Beca and Chloe will move in together with Alex, who is most excited about having a swimming pool in the garden. The house is 4 bedrooms with a fully fitted kitchen with black marble countertops. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk in closets and an en-suite for the couple to enjoy.
Alex's bedroom has doubled in size and is situated next to the shared bathroom at the other end of the top floor. One thing Beca made sure was built into the new house was a basement. She turned the basement into a sound-proof recording room, including a booth and desk for all of the recording and mixing boards.
One other thing that started to happen as soon as the newlyweds got home from their honeymoon, was the instant want to increase their family. After a long discussion, mostly on the private jet home, Chloe expressed the want to carry the baby again and was excited to have Beca by her side this time through it all.
They decided to keep the whole thing a secret from Alex and their family just in case it didn't happen for months because they knew that the process can take a long time to actually be successful.
...
"Chlo, you home babe?", Beca would walk through the front door of Chloe's childhood home. She'd place her keys in the small bowl by the front door before furrowing her eyebrows, wondering where her wife was. "Chloe?", she'd walk through to the living room to see Chloe biting down on her lower lip, smiling as she'd hold out a small piece of paper.
"What's going on? Where's Alex?", Beca would walk over to her wife, taking the piece of paper before leaning in to kiss her softly.
"I got your Dad to pick him up today cause I wanted to talk to you about something", Chloe would put her hands together and rest them under her chin as her smile would grow wider.
"Alright, what's going on then? What's this?", Beca would hold up the small piece of paper, still trying to read her wife's facial expression.
"Just open it and read it out loud", Chloe would bite down on her lip again as she'd watch the singer slowly open the paper and read it out loud.
"Hey baby! I'm so glad you're here! It's been a long day so you should grab yourself a beer!", Beca would read out loud before looking up at Chloe.
The brunette would smirk as she'd turn and walk into the kitchen, keeping a hold of the first bit of paper, as she'd go over to the fridge. Opening the door of the fridge she'd see a crate of beers sat on the shelf with another piece of paper labelled "Clue #2" stuck to the front of it.
Taking the piece of paper off of the box, Beca would close the door and turn back around to face Chloe before reading out the next clue. "The next clue on your hunt will keep you on your toes! Go to the place where we hang out our clothes!"
Chloe would follow her wife through the house feeling excited and a tiny bit nervous as they'd walk out into the garden. She'd wait by the back door as Beca would walk over to the clothes line, spotting another clue pegged on the line.
