Beca would be sat up at the kitchen table, next to her Dad and opposite Chloe who was sat next to Alex. They would all be eating dinner together, chatting to Alex mostly about his time at school and his performances with the soccer team he plays for. Throughout dinner Beca would casually steal glances at Chloe, smiling as she'd see Chloe smile and laugh along with Alex as he'd be telling everyone a story.

"Beca can you come to my soccer match on Friday at school?", Alex would speak up causing Beca to leave the daydream she was in. She'd notice Chloe now glance over at her, locking eyes, she'd watch Chloe smile and go a little nervous as she'd look back down at her dinner, trying to hide the blush rising on her cheeks.

Beca would look over at her son now who was raising an eyebrow back at her, making Beca smirk and bite on her lip trying not to laugh. "Of course I'll be there little man", Beca would smile at him as she'd place her knife and fork down on top of her empty place.

"Did you know that your Mom used to play soccer? And she was pretty good at it too", Brian would start to clean up the plates now, noticing that everyone was finished.

"Really? That's so cool! Mommy did you know that?", Alex would start to get excited as they'd all move into the living space now, sitting on the sofas.

"Your Mom was actually head cheerleader when we was in high school, so she saw all of my games", Beca would smirk as she'd sit on the sofa with Alex next to her, in the middle of her and Chloe, who was still acting nervously.

"I've just found this in the upstairs closet", Brian would hand an old book to Alex as he'd sit on the opposite couch across from his daughter.

"I-Is that our year book?", Chloe would mumble quietly as she'd recognise the front cover, now watching Alex start to flick through the pages. She'd start to feel herself come over all emotional as she'd notice the pictures Alex was scanning and flicking through of people she went to high school with, before he'd stop and stare at a particular picture in the 'Sports' section.

"Is this you?", Alex would point to the picture before looking up at Beca.

Beca would look down at the picture her son was pointing at remembering the moment as if it was yesterday.

FLASHBACK

Beca had just won her state championship game in her freshman year of high school. She was being picked up by her teammates, being sat on their shoulders as they cheered her name after she scored the winning goal. She'd laugh as she'd then be put down, noticing Benji holding his camera up and taking pictures of people celebrating the win. Thinking of an idea, she'd walk over to get his attention and tell him the plan.

Chloe would be stood celebrating with the girls on the cheerleading squad, at the side of the pitch as they'd watch the team and crowd celebrate in front of them. "Of course it had to be your girlfriend that scored the winning goal", Aubrey would roll her eyes and nudge Chloe before smirking, making them both laugh.

"What can I say? I'm lucky to have her", Chloe would smile as they'd turn around and start packing away their stuff.

"She asked you yet?", Aubrey would ask as the two girls would start putting their stuff into their sport bags.

"Not yet, but I hear my brother has finally asked you?", Chloe would wiggle her eyebrows making both girls laugh again.

"Oh shut up, he said we was just going as friends", Aubrey would roll her eyes as she'd turn around, slinging the bag over her shoulder. "Looks like your match winner is making her way over to celebrate with you", Aubrey would nudge Chloe one final time, making the redhead spin around and see Beca jogging over towards them, before walking off to give them some privacy.
