Inigo wakes to his floor-mates shuffling around, 'Why do I have to see them every day?'

He walks to his mirror and is shocked to see his hair is completely out of place. 'That's it, I don't care if I have to shower with them, I'm changing my daily shower to the morning.' He grabs a towel and rushes off to take a quick shower.

After showering Inigo changes into his college robes and heads down to breakfast with his floor-mates.

"Sports day!" Xylcas hoots.

"Do you think we will be picked for a Zysska! team?" Dinwae asks

"Doubt they will in the first week." Xylcas replies

"What did Master Rhodes say about where the first-years should meet?" Ryki asks

"In the main entrance, what are you guys going to sign up for?" Otaeryn says.

"I'm focused on getting into the Pyro's," Xylcas says.

"Me too," Dinwae adds.

They walk into the dining hall and join the queue for breakfast.

"You will have to join another sport until you get picked, you know that, right?" Otaeryn says.

"I guess I am pretty good with a bow." Dinwae says before turning to Xylcas and chuckling, "What will you do?"

"What do you mean by that?" Xylcas puffs out his chest.

Dinwae's chuckle turns into a laugh, "You're the only person in the history of archery to have shot an arrow right through your foot."

"That was one time," Xylcas snaps. "You are right, though, it did hurt."

Inigo, Ryki and Otaeryn join Dinwae in the laughter. 'What an idiot!'

After eating they join the other first-years in the main entrance and gather around the fountain as Master Rhodes walks down the stairs.

"First-years, as you know, today is Haoce. As you are aware, there are no classes set, this day of the week is dedicated to sports. Since this is the first Haoce of the year, each sports team have set up demonstrations to entice you all into joining their team.

By the end of the day, you will need to have signed up to one of the teams. Zysska! Also will have a demonstration but since Zysska! is dangerous, you will need to show your abilities in your classes to be accepted.

Go, enjoy your day!" Master Rhodes gestures to the main entrance.

Inigo follows the rush of students clamour towards the door, the large main doors open and all that could be heard was rain falling.

"I don't like getting wet," Dinwae says.

"It is only a bit of rain," Xylcas replies.

"Going to be terrible for archery." Otaeryn chimes in.

Inigo looks past the door and doesn't see one drop of rainfall outside, 'What is going on?'

"Wait, why aren't they getting soaked?" Ryki says, noticing the first few students already through the door are as dry as they were inside.

"I don't know," Xylcas says waling through the door.

Inigo follows and looks up to the sky, it is raining, but there seems to be some sort of invisible shield surrounding the tower, stopping the rain from falling on the island.

"That is cool, some sort of rain barrier," Xylcas says, breaking the bewilderment.

"Yeah, pretty cool. I need one of these back at home, our roof constantly needs repairing." Inigo says. 'Why did you say that? They are just going to think you are some poor street urchin!'
