Disclaimer: I do not actually know any rituals or chants of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. They were one of my favorite fraternities though when I attended college for a while.

My brothers and I, all stood around the table outside the house. Sipping our drinks from our red solo cups, we had about 5 minutes before we got to open the door for our party. We all put our arms around each other's shoulders and began one of our party-starter chants that we created ourselves, outside of the nationals.

WE, WE, WE, WE ARE THE MIGHTY SIGMA ALPHA EPSILON. WE LOVE TO DRINK OUR LIQUOR AND PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG. IF YOU'D LOVE TO GET TO KNOW US, JOIN US IN THIS SONG AND IF YOU'RE READY TO PARTY, SAY OPEN IT UP EPSILON.

I smiled, as the crowd in front of us began repeating our chant to us, eager to gain access to our house.

"Okay, ladies and gents!" I scream into the megaphone I grabbed off the table. "Are. You. Ready. To. Partaaaaaaaaaaay?"

OPEN IT UP EPSILON!

"I can't hear you!!!!" I shout once more.

OPEN IT UP EPSILON!!!!

My brothers and I quickly moved from in front of the door to allow the storm of people into the house where the music was blasting and the party games were just getting started.

"Cute." I heard a familiar voice say. I looked up from my cup to see Y/N standing at the top of the stairs.

"Hey." I said with a smile, happy to see her. She smiled back at me before also entering the house, with her two closest friends behind her.

"You're not gonna go in there with your girl?" Jake asked me.

"You know we have priorities at the beginning of every party." I respond to him. I hang back on the wall, wishing that I could go in there with Y/N right away, but requirements state that chapter members must refrain from entering the beginning of their party for at least 10 minutes. Following that, we had to make our rounds around the house to make sure everything was okay.

I sighed and twirled the blunt that I had in my pocket around. I couldn't wait to get fucked up once I got in that house. I declined the SAE pre-game simply because I didn't want to be wasted before I could actually enjoy the party. Sober Cameron, is very different from drunk Cameron. Yeah I'll admit it, I'm a sloppy drunk, but I'm still a great time though.

10 very long minutes later, I finally entered the house. Immediately, I pulled the blunt out of my pocket and sparked it, inhaling deeply. I blew a puff of smoke out, walking through the crowd of people.

"Cameron!" Mason shouted. I looked in his direction. "Downstairs!" I nodded. I headed downstairs into the basement to take my station for the next hour.

"Cameron!!" a random girl shouted, walking up to me. She was cute.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked her. "What's your name?" I inhaled from my blunt again being careful not to blow the smoke directly into her face.

"Jessica." she said. "Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." I say back to her. "Tell me about yourself." I cracked open another can of beer to pour into my red solo cup. I continued to smoke as Jessica and I shared a few laughs. She told me a lot about herself and naturally, I told her about myself too. She was a real cool chick. Occasionally, I would look around for Y/N, but with everyone moving around the floor so quickly, my eyes would quickly lose track of everything.

As much as I was into Y/N, I had to remind myself that I was single, I wasn't committed to anyone, it wouldn't hurt to dance with another girl and so I did. Cracking open one more beer and finishing my blunt, Jessica dragged me into the dance floor. I scanned around the room one more time, making sure nothing out of the ordinary was happening before returning my attention back to Jessica.

She turned her back to me and using my free arm, I wrapped it around her. We began swaying back and forth to the music that was playing. As the music got louder and the room got hotter, I began to feel the effects of the alcohol in my system.

Jessica turned around to face me putting our foreheads together as her hips swayed against my groin area.

"Damn, you sure know how to dance." I say to her. "Not better than me though." I chuckle. I slide my hands down to her waist as cupped my cheeks, stroking the side of my face.

"Everyone knows, Cameron Boyce, can dance" she began. "I wouldn't dare to compete with that." She brought her lips closer to mine as our dancing got heavier. Quickly looking up, I see Y/N on one of the couches, talking to another guy. The entirety of me knew that we weren't together, but did that stop me from getting mad? Of course not.

"Hey, it was nice getting to know you and dancing with you, but I uh, gotta start making rounds again." I say to Jessica, hoping that she would let me go.

"Okay, but don't hesitate to find me Cam." she replied to my lie. I nodded before kissing her on the hand and walking towards Y/N. I plop myself down on the couch next to her, not caring that she was talking to some random guy.

"Hey Y/N!" I exclaim, wrapping my arm around her shoulder.

"Hey come on man, we were talking." the guy said to me. I glared at him.

"Beat it." I said, giving him a death stare. I was already high and tipsy, and a fight was the last thing I needed. Realizing who I was, he slowly nodded and got up.

"Dang Cam, don't you think that was kind of mean?" Y/N asks me.

"Not as mean as you not looking for me since this party started." I responded.

"Well you seemed comfortable with that girl you were dancing with so I didn't want to bother you." she says chuckling. I pull her closer to me.

"That was one dance and she asked me, so." I said. She shrugged. "Why don't we go chill in my room? If that's something you're comfortable with." Without hesitation she nodded and stood up.

"It's too hot in here anyway." she says to me. Guiding her up the stairs and into my room, I close and lock the door.
