Sasuke ripped his hand out of my chest and stared at me in shock.
"You didn't even dodge..."
His words bounced around in my head. I couldn't comprehend what was going on around me. There was a lot of loud yelling and these constant thumps that echoed inside my head.
I tried to breathe in, but there was something keeping me from performing the task.
I remember a time when I couldn't breathe. There was a girl, someone who's name I can't remember, and I had somehow hurt her. I couldn't breathe at the time.
But this felt different.
I felt helpless, like I had no control. While that time I knew what I was doing.
What's happening now?

"Hibiki!" I ran down the stairs as quickly as possible. Sasuke ripped his hand out of her chest and muttered something as she slumped to the ground.
Blood was trickling out of her mouth and her eyes were half closed.
I pushed Sasuke out of the way and bent down, looking frantically at all of the surprised faces. "What are you doing?! Get the medic ninja!"
That seemed to snap everyone out of their daze, and they all began calling out instructions.
I stood up and grabbed Sasuke by the collar. "What did you think you were doing? You could've killed her!" I felt warm tears roll down my face as I yelled and shook him. She could die... She could die!
The look on his face made me growl. He didn't even look like he cared. I was about to yell at him again when I felt an evil chakra make it's way towards us. Sasuke's eyes moved to our right where I spotted Gaara. He was staring down at Hibiki, grabbing his head in pain. It looked like he was trying to hold himself back. His teammates had ran down beside him and were saying things I couldn't make out to him. I dropped Sasuke when I saw the feathers falling from the sky.

*Hibiki's POV*
What is this? Where am I?
It felt like I was floating. I wasn't too hot and I wasn't too cold. There was... nothing. I felt complete. I felt content and then...
I sat up with a jerk. A shriek escaped my lips at the pain I felt in my chest. I ripped out the IV's and the wires keeping track of my heart which was beating loudly in my head. A loud beep indicated the loss of my heartrate.
"Hurry! We have a patient who is..." A nurse bursted into the room with several other people, mostly nurses and a few medic ninja.
I put pressure on the spot where there was the most pain and grunted. My eyes squeezed shut from the pain. Things were said around me and I was pushed softly back onto the bed.
"Where... Where..." I couldn't form a coherent sentence through all the pain and the nurses shushed me as the few medic ninja they had pulled into the room got to work.
"You're in the hospital again sweetie." I couldn't muster the strength to comment about what she had called me, but the pain was starting to die down. "I was your nurse the first time. The medic nin are fixing you up the best they can. You've reopened your wound and it's possible you could bleed out, though it's very unlikely."
