I wake up and see Shawn laying next to me watching me sleep. "Good morning love." He says in a British accent. I chuckle and turn my body around to the other side so he can't see my face. "Why'd you turn around?" He pouts.

"Because you're being weird," I answer in a groggy voice still half asleep. I grab my phone from my nightstand and check my messages.

From Reece:
Dude, I just realized I start school tomorrow. Kind of freaking out!

To Reece:
Don't remind me, dude!

From Reece:
Well, at least you don't start for 3 more days!

To Reece:
True.

I put my phone down and get out of bed. "Where are you going?" Shawn asks.

"Breakfast," I say still with a groggy voice. For some reason, I wasn't in a good mood. But it is really early in the morning so I guess that's why.

"What? don't leave me!" Shawn says jokingly. I roll my eyes and turn to walk to the door.

"Just because you don't eat doesn't mean I don't," I say not looking at him.

I get downstairs and see Sammy in the kitchen. "Hey." I open the cabinet to get some captain crunch, AKA the best cereal. I didn't hear Sam reply. I turn around and he's just staring at me.

What's his problem?

I scrunch my face, giving him a 'what's your problem' look.

"What?" He asks. I can hear the attitude in his voice. I guess I'm not the only one in a bad mood.

"What do you mean, 'what'? You're the one staring at me!"

"Sorry." He looks down at his cereal and rolls his eyes. I grab the milk from the fridge. "Gracie, who was that guy in your room last night?" I hear Sammy ask.

To be honest I forgot that even happened.

I set the milk on the island and pour the cereal in the bowl. "What do you mean? Shawn, I told you that."

"What did you say his last name was again? Wasn't it, Mason?

"Um," I grab the milk and start to pour it, not really thinking about Sammy is saying. "Yeah."

///SAMMY'S POV///

"Um," She grabs the milk and starts to pour. "Yeah."

Ok, now she's definitely lying. I just made Mason up and she never even gave me his last name. Which means my theory might be possible, he's Shawn Mendes, the boy that died.

///GRACIE'S POV///

"I'm going to go upstairs and eat," I say.

"Okay," Sam whispers.

I take my bowl of cereal and a coffee up to my room. I set it on my desk and sit in the chair, putting my feet on the desk. "You feeling better now?" Shawn asks from my bed. "You really aren't a morning person."

"Yeah, once I get the coffee in me I'll be better."

"Why are you up at 6:30 am anyway?" He asks.

"Before school starts mom usually wants us to get started waking up early. But she's asleep so I could have slept in I guess. Wish I knew that when I woke up." I shrug my shoulders and take a bite of my favorite cereal.

"Hmm yeah." Shawn moves to the end of my bed and sits down. "So what do you want to do today?" He asks.

"Um, I have to help mom and finish summer homework today."

"Oh okay." Shawn always wants to do stuff. I mean I understand he does nothing all the time but I have the stuff to do.

Then Sammy slams the door open again. I look over at Shawn who disappeared. "I saw him!" Sam says pointing to where Shawn was sitting. He looks shocked. Somehow he seemed like he was out of breathing.

I decide to act dumb. "Saw who?" I ask messing with my spoon in my cereal.

"Shawn." Sammy shuts the door, quietly, and walks over to me. "You can cut the bullshit Gracie, I know the guy I met last night is Shawn Mendes, the one that died. I know he's a ghost and that's you you've been talking in here when you think we can't hear you." He takes a breath. "Sophie showed me a picture of Jace and Shawn together, so don't even try."

"One, language and Two, I don't understand." I put my feet down and sit up in the chair.

"Gracie I know your lying I just saw him sitting down right there so you better explain now." He says getting closer and closer to my face to be intimidating. "I've caught you red-handed." He smirks.

I don't know what to say. He basically figured it out and a part of me wants him to know. I throw my hands up in defeat. "Fine," I whisper. I look at were Shawn was sitting. "You can appear now," I say to the air.

Then Shawn appears next to us and Sam jumps back bringing his hands to his chest. "Ahhhhhh!" I laugh, he was terrified, it was hilarious.

He calms down and puts his hands down, taking in Shawn. "Woah... I was right!" He says quietly.

"Hi," Shawn says waving awkwardly. With a half-smile. It looked like something Stiles would do on Teen Wolf.

* a few minutes later*

I'm sitting in the middle of my bed by the headboard. I was sitting criss-cross with my elbows on my knees and my chin resting on my thumbs. Sammy is in front of me to my right and Shawn is sitting across from him on my left. They just keep staring at each other.

"So, um, are you okay little man?" Shawn waves his hand in front of Sam's face.

Sammy snaps out of his thoughts and leans back. "U-um, um, y-yeah." He nods his head.

"So do you have any questions?" I ask Sam.

"Yeah, yeah." He thinks for a second. "Why are you here? Why aren't you in the afterlife or s-something?" That was actually a good question, I've never even thought about that.

Shawn looks a little taken back by the question. I think he was expecting a stupid question, not something so deep. "I don't know actually." Shawn squints his eyes.

"How can you touch things? Ghosts can't touch things." When Sammy asks that I smirk. I don't know why I did, but I did. I just was thinking about Shawn holding me and the weird butterflies I get in my stomach when I touch his ice cold skin.

"Well, that's a recent development, I only started to be able to do that recently." Shawn looks at his hands. "It's really cool though." He chuckles.

"Huh Yeah." Sam chuckles a bit too. "Do you have feelings for my sister?" Sam looks at me and my eyes become wide. Shawns do too.

"What?" I and Shawn say at the same time. When I said it I laugh but Shawn sounded serious like he just got exposed. My heart started to race. Does he actually have feelings for me?
