I pulled this chapter out of my butt while trying to teach my brother how to factor monomials for his big test tomorrow. My brother has the brain the size of a peanut, so you can imagine how hard it is to try to teach him. It's like pulling teeth.
Well, I hope you like it. It's short, but all of my chapters are short, so that's nothing new! :D
Enjoy
Oh yeah, and I would like to dedicate this chapter to imsobad because she is awesome!!! Also to xowritergirl14xo because she has awesome comments and becasue sheis my secret lover... hahaha jk jk. Love you BB!

Chapter Thirteen
I could hear Tim laughing behind me. "Guess like we'll be spending every waking moment together, JJ. I know you can't wait."
I turned around in my chair and glared at Tim. He wore his signature smirk on his face. "If you make me get a bad grade in this class, Timothy Lenoir, expect to never have sex again," I threatened.
His smirk grew. "I doubt that you would ever do something like that, JJ. You want my dick attached to my body so that I can..."
"Tim, seriously. Shut the hell up," I whisper-yelled.
At the same time, Mrs. Davidson came over to our desks and stared us down with her sunken black eyes. I was pretty sure that Mrs. Davidson was an anorexic. She was so skinny, her legs looked like if she stepped the wrong way, they would just snap like twigs. "Are you two coming along well?" She asked.
We both mumbled a "yeah" and she just gave us a I-know-you're-lying-and-I'm-going-to-keep-my-eyes-on-you look. She walked away and moved on to other groups.
"OK," I said opening my binder and getting out my notes, "We should figure out what we should do the experiment on."
Tim glanced at his blank notebook in front of him and looked up at me. "Why don't we test Benford's Law and Zipf's Law and see if they actually work."
I stared at Tim like he had three heads and began to nod my head enthusiastically. "I don't even know what you just said, so I'm going to just nod my head and pretend like I understand."
Tim laughed. "Well, look who's the smart one now."
I narrowed my eyes at him and said, "Just because you know some fancy statistics laws, doesn't mean that you have to get all "I'm smarter than you" on me."
"Well, I am smarter than you, JJ."
I laughed. "Yeah, right. Who's the one getting the academic scholarship, huh? And what's up with all these nicknames. One day I'm Jazz. The next I'm Shmoopie. And now I'm JJ."
"Jasmine is a good name for nicknames. Plus, I'm getting a scholarship also. Just not in academics."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, like catching a football requires such brain work."
"It does. Especially since I call all the plays."
"I thought that was the quarterback's job, not the running backs?"
"Our quarterback is Freddie Hollis. Do you really think he could call plays with his nut- sized brain? Seriously. Don't get me wrong, he's got an amazing arm, but he can barely put his shoes on without needing help from someone. So, I am the designated leader of the game."
"You're really into football."
"Yeah, well, I have to. It's every male Lenoir's requirement." I detected some angry sarcasm.
"Yeah, my little brother was raving about your brothers, Mark and Kyle."
His facial expression hardened. He looked like he was biting his teeth down as hard as he could. I sensed that maybe the topic of Tim's brothers was a sensitive one. "Everyone loves Kyle. But, how does he know about Mark? He's only in sixth grade."
"My brother is in the same grade as him. They play on the team together."
"Oh. That's cool," he said not really sounding like he meant it.
"Yeah," I said. I looked down at the rubric Mrs. Davidson had given us without really reading it. I was thinking more about why Tim seemed to dislike his brothers so much.
Maybe Tim wasn't the only one with family secrets.

I hope you liked this! BTW I have absolutely no idea how to do statistics. I have not yet had that class, so I'm clueless. So, I looked up a a statistics project and this one came up about those two laws, so I was like "Oh! This sounds smart!" So I put it in there!!! :)
Thx so much for reading! Don't forget to VOTE/COMMENT/FAN!!!!!
