I kept my word and the following day, I was at Carson's apartment. We spent the entire day together enjoying each others' company and during that time, he had enlightened me on his match yesterday. I must admit, it sounded like it was an incredibly tough match. I was happy I wasn't there. I wouldn't been on edge.

As the evening drew to a close, I gave Carson a massage as he had said that his muscles were sore from the fight. Now, it after six and I was lying on the couch with Carson's head on my lap. I was well aware that it was time for me to leave and get back to the dorms, but I wanted to stay here with Carson for a while longer.

"Your birthday is in three weeks, have anything special in mind that you want?" Carson asked breaking our comfortable silence.

"I've never really thought about it, but honestly there isn't anything that I want," I answered absently running my hands through his hair.

"Okay then. I'll just make it a surprise."

"I love that idea." I agreed. We lapse into a comfortable silence again, until I break it. "I really should get going, but you're keeping me hostage here."

Carson chuckled lightly. "I'm not keeping you hostage. Just admit it, you're the one that doesn't want to leave." I laughed at that, but I didn't contradict him because he was right. "Okay, come on. How about we get some ice cream before I take you to your dorm?" He suggested as he sat up from my lap into a sitting position.

I smiled at him. "What is it with you and ice cream?" I asked teasingly referring to his love of ice cream.

He shrugged his shoulders and grinned at me. "It's good and besides, it gives me an excuse to spend more time with you before taking you to your dorm."

I nodded my head. "Good thinking."

Carson stands up from the couch and walked to a table to retrieve his car keys. He then turned back around to see me still sitting down. "Are you coming? Or are you going to sit there and check out my ass?" He asked with a mischievous wink.

My eyes widen at his statement. "I was not!"

"Of course you weren't." He continued to tease me.

"Carson Gershard Knight," I exclaimed warningly.

When I said that he looked at me and pouted in that cute way of his. "I thought we decided that you weren't going to call me that?"

I grinned at him. "No. Actually, you decided that. I didn't." I said teasingly.

He gave me a playful glare before his face breaks out into a warm smile. "Okay, you will get away with it only because it's you." He said, then added. "Now, come on, let's go get that ice cream."

A half-hour later, we exited the ice cream shop and crossed the street to where Carson parked his car. When we neared the car, I heard the sound of people walking up behind us.

"Well, well, if it isn't the lovely couple." I heard a voice say before we could turn around.

Carson and I turned around instantly to the sound of the familiar voice. Standing in front of us were four guys. I recognized Oliver, but I didn't know the other three. Instantly, Carson stepped in front of me, keeping me behind him.
