take 'em out.
Open my book,
slam it shut.
Write a poem,
tear it out because it sucks.
Walk with friends,
stare at the ground-
try not to run.
Make sure our eyes don't meet.
Stare out the window,
watch my reflection in the glass.
Tap my fingers nervously.
Go to my locker,
waste time thinking.
Write on my hand,
chip my nail polish away.
Close my eyes,
with my head on the table.
Talk to myself,
ignore your cautious stares.
Act like I don't care.
Curse myself.
Curse you.
Curse the world.
