"Sorry Pete but your grounded for a week as well" Tony Stark Said solemnly, he hated this but this was the 12th time this week peter had almost been killed and it broke his heart every time and he could NOT go through that again he surveyed the look of betrayal in his 'sons' eyes as he turned to the others each with a look of sorrow but nodding their heads agreeing with his decisions as they had felt the same pain at almost loosing their nephew, peter had ran to his room and had slammed the door shut in a huff "did I make the right call?" Tony asked "Yes Tony you did" Steve replied the others nodding.

Minutes later

"Sir the baby monitor protocol is off audio and visual automatically engaged" everyone turned to the big screen projector now in the tower oh boy was peter in trouble NOW!
"Now kid what did I say about being grou.." but his own shock cut him off peter was face to face with Loki then they heard something...something that terrified them "why..why can't I move?" Then they heard him! His name was banned in the tower and most places the avengers went, in fact there was a communal deep loathing inside them that they all had for him !
"A little enchantment my dear spider, nothing permanent nothing harmful, just a little something I concocted"
"Loki" Tony seethed "if he does ANYTHING to my son I'll.." "Tony we'll find him..we'll find him" Bruce repeated over and over he was mainly reassuring himself then anyone else who was becoming slightly annoyed "we will now shush I can't hear them" Steve shouted
"follow me peter we have some business to attend to"
"Business what business?" Tony questioned "with Loki concerned that is not good" clint said he knew first hand they gasped when peter followed but relaxed slightly as he muttered under his breath, through laboured breathing "must..stop..break...control..Loki.."
"You might be Spider-Man but Peter YOU could be so much more! With me at your side prove to mr stark how capable you are, how clever you are and how powerful... go along on missions!"
Peter thought for a second mr stark couldn't say no to a god could he?
"He's Not is he..?" Bruce asked
"Considering..no Tony shrugged
"Would he.." he asked again scared

"Think about it...I cause a 'little' dilemma, avengers answer it, they get overpowered,their done for, then BAM!, you swing in catch the 'baddie', save their lives and your NEVER overlooked AGAIN!"
"YOUR NOT OVERLOOKED PETER I CARE TOO MUCH THATS ALL!" Tony screamed

Loki whispered "The GREATEST avenger! What do you say kid?" Loki asked
"Peter?" Tony whispered

Peters head faced Loki as he calmly but determinedly replied "I could NEVER betray the avengers trust no matter how much they don't trust me" Loki slapped him forcing his head back "oh Pete" Steve said sadly the others felt ashamed "We're so sorry"

" oh come on Peter" Loki begged "you've stood in the shadows for far too long I know you want this!"
"That's Loki talking from experience not you!"
Tony whispered
"Peter please no" Natasha whimpered
"the neighbourhood still needs a Spider-Man who is friendly!" Peter said triumphantly, "last chance Spidey, Loki warned "think about it.."
"He wouldn't would he?" Natasha asked as everyone exchanged nervous glances
"OF COURSE NOT GUYS COME ON THIS IS PETER WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!" Tony shrieked
"No" Peter announced loudly
Everyone cheered sighs of relief Tony gave them a knowing look  "uncle bens promise!" he chuckled merrily

"So be it" Loki spat walking away an audible breath was heard before Loki spun on his heels "oh sorry  you can't move I guess I should release you from that"
"Huh!" Tony said confused
"What" Clint exclaimed
"wait no I shouldn't" Loki cackled
"Of course he wouldn't" everyone said head in their hands
  "your body is mine,I only need your mind!" Clint froze peter had awoken him from a many a nightmare, Tony but his lip peter had enough nightmares to deal with!

"sounds great how about I fit you in next Tuesday?" Peter quipped Loki opened his mouth but Peter interrupted
"Peter shut up!"the avengers shouted at the screen this was NOT going to end well

"no sorry I'm not free until then you see I've got patrol tomorrow mjs birthday party on Saturday avengers game night Sunday, school on Monday..." ENOUGH " Loki shouted moving closer to peter "would you like to step back? hmm? I can arrange that for you" Loki said "no" "god dammit!" Tony shouted peter was scared   "zip it!" Loki said and in an instant peter couldn't speak "THAT MONSTER" Tony yelled knowing peters love of speaking was also a defensive mechanism as Peter and Spider-Man
"LOKI!" Steve yelled this was sure to scar peter emotionally he never stopped talking...        "good glad that's sorted" Loki continued smugly "I will need a little.." Loki paused "interference  shall we say?" He held up his sceptre the avengers screamed "NO!"
"walk back" and he did "He's near the edge he's going to fall!" Steve shrieked getting ready to go "STOP!!" Bruce yelled at the screen hoping to influence the situation to no avail Without a second glance Tony was calling his suit and free falling out the window watching The video through the suit
peter was one step away from his death...

Loki held up his hand "stop" which peter obeyed
peter breathed a sigh of relief,
Tony breathed a sigh of relief
Steve breathed a sigh of relief
Bruce breathed a sigh of relief
EVERYONE breathed a sigh of relief
"phew" Loki placed two fingers under his chin and slowly lifted his head up to meet him in the eye "last chance! Peter I will not hesitate to let you fall, join willingly and maybe I'll leave your mind alone..for a bit" Loki smirked "peter I don't care it's YOUR life here agree" Tony said "DONT play the hero.. don't die..." his eyes watered  "I..I..agr.." peter started but Loki zipped his moth shut once again
"WHAT!" They yelled stunned
"I can read your thoughts you know,"peters mouth dropped,
"Judging by his reaction somethings gone wrong" Wanda and Bucky said
"I can help with that" and in one swift movement Loki pushed peter off the edge.......
"NOOOOO"

Back to peter

I still couldn't move,I couldn't agree to Loki and now I was falling...dying...how's your Monday going?.....I closed my eyes not wanting to feel 'it' let alone see 'it' "I'm sorry mr..tony...I'm so sorry dad" suddenly I felt a strong pair of metal arms grab me and then I was moving up....WAIT? Up?

Tony's pov

I was there just in time...luckily...thank GOD! Peter seemed to have a..accepted! It? I NEVER want to see this look again "you have NOTHING to be sorry for" I replied to his 'last words' LOKI WAS IN FOR IT NOW HE INVOLVED MY KID!!!

Time skip to end of fight

I whacked Loki in the face he fell to the floor shocked and broken I had never been this aggressive his eyes black and swollen his arm and leg broken, some ribs cracked, I made him wish hulk went round two with him.
I aimed my repulser at him "YOU WILL NEVER MESS WITH MY SON AGAIN!" He backed away from me hurriedly but he found it hard with his injuries  I was about to fire when Thor landed infront of me and Steve and Bruce behind me held my arm back "this is not the way!" Thor said hoisting Loki up putting handcuffs on him immediately I dropped my arm as Thor led him past me
" yknow stark," he said "I would have loved to see him dead his blood splattered on the pavement everywhere for the world to see.
I wonder what else I could have tortured him with? Something about being Uncle Bens murderer?" he chuckled "YOU MONSTER!" I yelled going for him it took all the avengers to hold me back and even they were struggling not to hit him one! As Thor grabbed him harshly leading him back to asguard

Time skip to tower
"We promise to involve you in more missions from now on ok? Now please go to bed"

"Guys I told you I'm fine!, please can I go to "patrol ppplease"

"Peter you've only just healed..
"But I'm healed"
"Only just!"
"Pppplease"
"Fine but with one of us at all times"
"But..."
"For the next month.."
"Love you guys"
And with that Tony and I raced out the window and I was once again freefalling I LOVED this feeling more than any other, and Tony was now my dad!
