Mysterio 3

......Meanwhile back at the compound.......
"I just think something's off about him you saw what he did to peter!"
"Steve we've been over this that mysterio was this worlds Beck impersonating the other worlds, our mysterio so therefore it wasn't him!" An exasperated Clint repliedfor the 100th time
"So how come he always knows how to defeat the villain and is always pulling the sacrifice play and survives it he's acting like Tony!"

The mention of his name brought a silence over the avengers eyes down in mourning
"Steve I'm not trying to replace Tony"
A voice appeared behind him
"I'm sorry you feel that way you should have told me I could have stopped earlier I'm sorry"
Mysterio finished
"I..I didn't know you were here....it's ok" Steve answered weakly for all his faults he had loved Tony and knew not to push too far although

He was still suspicious about mysterio and was keen to investigate
(Unfortunately mysterio knew too)

Three weeks later
*click* as their cell door opened
Shuffle as peter and Tony knelt head bowed infront of him (without chains) that was their greeting
"Are you going to behave today?"
Tony and peter exchanged looks That was new no cheerily sickening 'good morning' to let them know another day had been lost in this torture hole and the endless pain was about to begin two slaps echoed around the room
"I said ARE YOU GOING TO BEHAVE TODAY!!!"
"Yes master" two resounding voices immediately chirped out it seemed they had both zoned out "goood" he stretched the sound
"Today Pet Today Insect you will be on your best behaviour yes?
"Yes master" weren't they always? They thought
"Today you will learn what your obedience gets you! Today you will not fail me or the illusion room calls" they both shivered both heads nodding quickly "YES MASTER" they shouted out of fear
"There no need to shout!"
A string of apologies left both their mouths they knew that punishment and it was very unpleasant
"Sorry so sorrry sorry sorry sir so sor..."
"ENOUGH!" Mysterio cut them off
They stopped suddenly shaking
"I love this you know the fear you two radiate so you are forgiven...up"
Both heads snapped to his eyes
"But this is only a one off and you don't need me to tell you the punishment if you don't learn from this do I?"
"No master" "N..no m.as..ter" peter stuttered out he hated this particular punishment: illusioned
"When I come back here I expect this position to be held and silence I will bring with me a guest and you do not under any circumstances answer him DO You Understand!?"
"Yes master"
"Good no pain now or today if you behave... bye"
*bang* as the cell door closed but didn't lock

Back at the compound
"STEVE! Where are you STEVE! oof" Mysterio yelled bumping into Natasha on the way "have you seen Steve?" He asked impatiently before Natasha could speak "yes he's that w." She pointed but he had already gone sped off to the corridor to find Steve
Mysterio raced to the living room and found him reading a newspaper on the sofa next to Clint on mariocart racing Sam who was sitting on the floor beside him
"Steve!" He exclaimed getting everyones attention
"Can I talk to you in private?"
"Sure"
They walked out the room down the corridor to Steve's room "it's about peter" Steve's face instantly lit up "I've found him"
"Where..WHEN HOW W.." Steve started but was cut off
"That's the bad news I saw him...I saw him with hydra...Steve he's working for hydra"
"The winter soldier?"
"No the winter spider"
"Is he close"
"5th street"
Then let's go get him aven.."
"NO WAIT" mysterio hissed "
if we all go they'll see us coming and kill him or worse it needs to be a sneak attack you and me Now... I know how much he means to you Steve... you can help him break the control only you and if we are going to do it we have to go now"
"Then let's go get our Spidey back, our avenger ,our Peter"
"Yes" mysterio smirked "let's"
Captain America was sprinting to 'peters' last seen location while  Mysterio flew on ahead the avengers had been inquisitive to their leaving without a reason Steve just said it was a 'bonding session' in the park and after that no-one had questioned it after all the last year meant they seriously needed some TLC.
Mysterio landed on 10th street of course Cap hadn't seen him he was setting him up
BIG TIME
he checked his illusion tech steadied his breathing and got ready to act as he walked back to 5th street a few seconds later Steve arrived not even out of breath fuelled by adrenaline and family heartache they ducked behind the corner where they had a perfect view of the street ahead of them
"Come on Beck where is he? Did you? did you LIE TO ME! No no no no no Peter I."
