TIA: This Is Awkward ONGOING

Ako si Tia, 25 years old and a certified proof-reader ng isang malaking publishing company sa Manila.

Siguro nagtataka kayo kung ano ang trabaho ng isang proof reader? Well, simple lang, yung publishing company ay mag-se-send sa aking ng bulks of sample magazines at newspapers, then i-che-check ko naman ang spellings at grammar ng mga ito para kapag i-pi-print na, maging presentable naman ito sa mga readers. I graduated from PLM, A.B English ang tinapos ko. I love reading and watching movies.

I work from home so mayroong company messenger na nagde-deliver ng mga i-pu-proof read ko, tas pag natapos ko na, tatawagan ko sya para i-pick up naman nya ang mga ito. I've been in this job for 2 years and my supervisor calls me an expert na.

At aside from being a proof reader, isa din akong confused inamorata (FYI: hindi po bad word yang inamorata. -_- Meaning ay a woman who is loved).

Yes, LOVE, kasi I have 2 persistent suitors. Sobrang kulit talaga as in.

Si Rancho na parang isang movie actor. Tall, fair-skinned, muscular, handsome, chic at charismatic. Plus pogi points din ang pagiging good dancer nya. Although he's a bit narcissistic, madaming girls padin ang may gusto sa kanya, pero sa 'kin nya naibaling ang attention nya, ewan ko ba kung bakit.

Tas nandyan naman si Joker na isang music prodigy. He is quick-witted, charismatic, funny, pero medyo bad boy type ang looks with matching tattoos pa. He's a bit suplado din especially to the girls na naghahabol sa kanya. But he treats the girl he likes in a very special way.

You see my dilemma? Hindi ko alam kung baket ako ang napili nilang dalawa. Pero I admit, masaya maging center of attention, masaya maging nasa gitna nang dalawang nag-gigitgitang (at nag-ga-gwapuhang) mga bato, at higit sa lahat, masaya ako.

"Tia baby, let's go out. I want to see the sunset with you." Sabi ni Rancho one day.

Well, you see, Rancho is a hopeless romantic guy. Gusto nya nang mga senti moments like star gazing and waiting for falling stars to wish upon, o kaya naman magpunta sa seaside sa Baywalk to see the sunset, at higit sa lahat, ang candle light dinner.

"Hey! Alam mo naman na hindi gusto ni Tia ang lumabas, she's more comfortable dito sa bahay. If you like, mag-sunset ka mag-isa, we'll stay here to read books and cook dinner sa aming dalawa." Sagot naman ni Joker.

Hm, this guy on the other hand knows me well. Siya kasi ang una kong nakilala so he knows my likes and dislikes. He's not as romantic as Rancho pero sabi nya he'll do everything for me, ako daw ang masusunod.

"I know that, pero the world needs to see how beautiful Tia is." Depensa ni Rancho.

Normal na ang ganitong conversation para sa amin, hindi ko na nga lang din sila pinapansin since ayoko naman talaga nang too much confrontation. And to answer your queries, yes, nandito sila ngayon sa bahay ko. Don't ask why, favorite hangout place nila masyado ang place ko.

And speaking of it, tama si Joker, I don't like going out in public places kasi very shy and timid ako. It feels like I do not belong sa outside world. It's too harsh, ma-polusyon, heavy traffic jam, madaming masasamang loob at mga maarteng tao.

Let me guess, you guys are wondering how I finished college and got a job, 'no? Here goes...

I don't have a family, I was raised sa ampunan. Gumraduate ako ng high school with the help of the government, nag-set kasi sila ng high school sa loob ng ampunan, tas for college, pinilit lang ako ng mga social workers kasi sabi nila kaya ko naman dahil may utak naman ako.
