"It seems as if the new specimen is... Different" a man said as he looked down at his notes. From where he sat he could see through a window. This window was completely invisible to (Y/N) on the other side. But they were up high and able to look down at her as she ran through the maze.
"How so?" The voice of a woman spoke. She was the same woman who had announced to (Y/N) about her challenges.
"Though it took her hours to figure out the maze, it seemed as if she had... Help. A guide of some sorts. And even when she stopped that last time. It seemed as if that round of electricity didn't affect her as much as it should've" The man said as he tapped his pen on his clip board. He adjusted his glasses and then he scratched his beard and made a soft gruff noise and then he cleared his throat to get the attention of the woman who clearly didn't care.
"Oh...oh right yes, it did seem a little odd that she just seemed to know the way at the end. However, her body must've just adapted to the amount of times we shocked her. That honestly doesn't seem too far of a stretch. As at first she did stop a lot." She said in a matter of factly way. She backed away from the window and then she sat down at her spot on the table.
"I thought the same. But even then the shock should've had more of an affect than it had. Are you sure it was just her body adapting to it? I doubt it. I think it's something we should bring up to.... Him" He said with a small frown and then he put his clip board down it made a little click sound as it was placed down. The noise filled the air which caused the woman to snap out of her little trance and look at him.
"If we report this and it turns out to be nothing. You know he will have my head. So I suggest that it's easier if we wait until we have a lot of evidence and a lot of things to report." She said coldly as she looked down at his clip board. "It looks like we barely have anything to say about her. Despite that she is human and can do a maze. It's nothing special. And if we just go and report that then he won't want to waste any more time on her and will surely kill her. So just wait. We will figure out what to do after we do all of the tests."
"What is the next test?" He said, raising his eyebrow. "this is the second time you've mentioned other tests but I'm not sure what you mean by that. I thought the maze one was the only one we were supposed to do. It's like what we have been doing with the other kids."
"This one is special. We want to know why Slender would choose her. What makes her so different. The child is useless to talk to since she's so young. Four. I believe the reports detail. And it seems like she was comfortable with them so it's not like he just got them. It is rumored that it's either one of the members under his care or he got her at birth. But the details aren't there. So the only way we can figure this out is if we see if any abilities pop up while training her." She said and she rose from her seat. "The next test is combat. She will have to fight some of the child workers who are trained in combat. If she survives then we will report that." And with that the woman left the room. Her heels clicked softly against the stone floors and the door slammed shut behind her.
The man sat there in silence for a while as he thought about everything that happened and then he stood up. He gathered his notes and took one last look at the room before flipping the switch and watching all of the walls go back into the floor and he shook his head. "You better be something special or it's all of our heads on the platter." He said in a soft voice before shutting all the power in that room down and he walked out. The door making the same slamming sound as when the woman left.
