Your body felt heavy against the cold table. Your muscles were tense, but you could feel how they tingled. You were so sore you couldn't lift a finger or open your eyes. Your mouth a dry and your breathing was wheezy. The effects of yesterday's events were now forced down on you, like stones, they were pressed down on you until you were barely breathing. Eventually, after 10 minutes of silence and controlled breathing you were able to croak out a single word. "P...pa...pa..." You were barely even able to hear your own voice but you wanted it to reach him, you needed him to save you.
"Oh good, she's awake" you heard an unfamiliar voice speak. "Looks like she's alive after all. It's a shame she survived that. Those kids are going to pulverize her little body." The voice let out a small sigh and was then accompanied by a deeper voice.
"That's enough Darla, the child can hear you. Giving it a false sense of uncertainty will unfairly unbalance the competition. Just give her the steroids. Enough of this for a week should bring out some fight in her, enough to last against those kids at least." The other voice chimed in.
You still couldn't open your eyes, and your limbs were useless to you. So all you could do was listen and let out some pathetic whines. You thought to yourself. "Papa... Papa please... Don't... Lemme die hea... I needs you..." You knew he couldn't hear you but you couldn't help but try. You began to feel frustrated and couldn't help but start crying.
"Oh great. She's crying I told you. This isn't going to end well." That second voice said with a tone that you didn't really understand.
"Wow, It's almost like you're rooting for the little brat. What are you trying to gain from her winning against them? You know they will just throw more at her." The first voice said and you could hear a faint tapping of something.
"Who... Are they? Why am I here... what's going to happen... Why will kids hurt me..." You felt sweat begin to frame your face. Confusion struck you as you couldn't figure out what was going to happen to you. "Please help me. Please... Someone... Help me... I can't speak... Why can't I speak! Why can't I move!" You felt the tears pooling under your eyelids and spilling out faster. You wanted to break down in a full sob, but you managed to stay strong. You remembered how your papa would always tell you to never let anyone know that you were weak. "You are not weak... You are strong... You are tough.... Don't you cry. Don't you cry." You repeated this to yourself over and over again as you tried to stop crying. By this time you have disengaged in their conversation and you stopped trying to figure out what they were saying. You just focused on breathing.
"Looks like she's calming down. Great now give her that shot. And then we can finallyget out of here. She's alive and that's all we needed to check. Let's call in someone else to handle her. I'm hungry. Maybe if we can get out of here fast enough we can get some lunch" the first voice said with a yawn.
You heard shuffling as if someone was dragging their feet across the ground as the got to you. When you heard the sound right next to you, you could hear their raspy breathing. You could smell their ashy sent. You wanted to block your nose but you couldn't. "W...what is that smell?" You thought to yourself in a panicked way. Suddenly you felt a heavy hand grab your arm and you let out an involuntary whimper. You heard a small chuckle.
"Now stay still, this will hurt." He mumbled with a heavy attitude. Suddenly you felt a sharp pain in your arm. The pain exploded and you couldn't hold back your tears. You sobbed and then, a few seconds later the pain weakened. But you still could feel your arm throb.
"What was that... What was that... What did they do? Why....why does it hurt so bad" Your head filled with a million questions all swirling around in you. "Papa... W..why do they want me to hurt so bad?" You choked on your own sob. And you heard the heavy door slam shut, you were once again alone.

"There doesn't seem to be any lead on her whereabouts sir. There really isn't any evidence that we can go on. All we know is that hoodie noticed (Y/n) was out and that he heard singing, when he went to investigate he saw a strange woman and they both vanished. This could mean anything. For all we know she could've been taken by anyone." Jeff uselessly babbled on. It wasn't like they already thought of this, and discussed this. Jeff just, had a way of sticking in the past.
The faceless man's head turned to stare directly into the soul of Jeff. A low rumble of static pulsed through the room, he was frustrated and he didn't need anyone repeating the same things over and over again.
"Are you an idiot, Jeffrey? Do you not think with that tiny little brain of yours? Clearly not. For you would've ALREADY KNOWN THAT WE HAVE DISCUSSED THIS. Multiple TIMES. IN THE LAST FEW DAYS." He let out a shriek, and then he let out a small cough and fixed his tie. It wasn't like him to just loose his cool like that, but he felt that all they were doing was running around in circles.
Suddenly the doors to the room burst opened and the two turned their heads to see who had entered. "Sir, there seems to have been a few rumors circulating around.... It seems like there may be a chance that (Y/n) is within the domains of the child slave trade. The one that is run by Zalgo... Apparently they we're testing their newest catch and they realized that this girl was something that they haven't really encountered before. She is strong, and can withstand a lot of damage. They got her around the same time that (y/n) went missing." A very out of breath masky said, his mask exposed no emotions, but the tone of his voice revealed how serious he was. Because of this, slender turned to him and quickly used one of his tendrils to shut and lock the door.
"Tell me everything that you know and take a seat." He almost growled out. "Jeffrey you stay too. But as of now everything that you say will be kept between the three of us. Now hurry it up."
Hoodie let out a shaky sigh as he shut the door. He waited for a moment and then he took his seat next to Jeff.
"Where did you get this information from?" He asked plainly as he folded his hands tightly against the desk. "Any false information will will be grounds for immediate punishment. Do you understand?"
"Yes sir, I understand. All information I will tell you will be nothing but the truth." He said calmly and then he straightened himself up as he talked. "Masky and I decided to look beyond our reach in the woods. We figured that if she was still here we would've found her. And so instead we decided to look in places where the kidnapper would actually take her. With the power the kidnapper had, we realized that she would've had to be someone strong, someone with a lot of status. So we turned to where most people with power like that would be-" he started before he was cut off.
"You went to the under world?" Jeff said with a gruff voice that held a hint of surprise.
"Exactly. We knew that would be the best option. It would be easy to surpresse that kind of power there and that's why we haven't been able to track that person. Well when we went there, there was a lot of talk about the child slave service... Which has been growing stronger since last year. And then there were these two people who wore cloaks. They were talking about the girl I told you about. They only said about that much until they stopped."
"How interesting, intriguing really.. but we can't base our next move on simple rumors. No telling what kid they are referring too. Especially since (Y/n) doesn't hold any special abilities. So it's hard to put anything solid on that notion. However, it is the farthest we've gotten in finding her. So I will keep it in mind as a possible lead." Slender said with a slight nod as he leaned back against his chair. "I want you Jeffery and masky to get together and start to plot out a way to find more information about this place and this girl. Understood?"
"Yes sir." They both said as they rose from their chairs and dismissed themselves from the room.
Slender turned his head to the contents of his desk, there were a few dusty books, paper that had just been thrown around carelessly all around it was a mess, but as he unfolded his hands he knew with certainty exactly where to look. His hand glided around his desk and then brushed some papers off of the object he wanted. He picked it up and held it in both of his hands. In his hands he held a small picture frame, with a dusty glass. He brushed the dust off with his fingers and looked at it with a careful glance and mumbled softly to himself. "Don't worry (Y/n) we'll get you home safe."
