Ollie lay quietly on the grass, staring up at the remaining clusters of twinkling stars.

"This is it" He thought to himself, staring down at his blood soaked shirt. "I'm going to die".

The only thing on his mind was George, he just hoped it wasn't him that found his body.

He tried to move, but was stopped by a sharp pain in his wound.

"Shit" he mumbled, as he rolled back over in defeat. He closed his eyes and thought about everything good about his life.

"James, my room, my job, Georgie..." Ollie thought to himself, pausing at George.

He missed George, he tried to focus on how much he loved him.

"Ollie!" A voice called. Ollie turned his head slightly.

"Must be my imagination" He thought to himself, closing his eyes again.

"Ollie!" The voice called once more, this time more clearly.

Ollie looked to the side, only to see a distant figure sprinting towards him, shouting his name.

"Ollie? Is that you?!"

The once distant figure became much more visible, Ollie could just make out George's pale features.

"George..." He whispered, attempting to prop himself up on his arms, only to fail miserably and fall back to the ground.

"Ollie! What happened?" George asked, frantically kneeling beside him.

"Maria....she invited me to a duel" The brunette muttered, the metallic taste of blood beginning to fill his mouth.

George looked around frantically for any sign of help, before turning his attention to Ollie.

"George?" Ollie asked, his green eyes that once burned with life slowly dimming.

"Yes love?" The blonde answered, adjusting himself into a cross legged position before resting Ollie's head and upper torso on his lap.

"Am I going to die?"

The realisation hit George like a bullet. Looking at where the bullet had struck, he wouldn't have enough time to carry him to the infirmary before he bled out.

"I don't know, love" He lied, not wanting to panic Ollie in his final moments.

"I'm tired" Ollie whispered, his voice raspy and exhausted.

Just close your eyes, it's ok" George instructed softly, to which Ollie happily obliged.

"It's too quiet" Ollie commented, his eyes slowly blinking. "Can you sing, your good at that".

George nodded, and tried to think of a song he knew well enough. ❤️

"Alone she sleeps, in the shirt of man" he began, as Ollie gently closed his eyes.

"With my three wishes clutched in her hands" he continued, playing with a lock of Ollie's soft hair.

"The first that she be spared the pain, that comes from a dark and laughing rain".

He felt Ollie's warm breath turn ice cold.

"When she finds love, may it always stay true, this I beg for my second wish I made too".

George felt tears begin to flow down his cheeks, but wiped them away.

"But wish no more, my life you can take, to have her please just one day wake, to have her please just one day please..." He sang softly, filling each word with love as Ollie fell limp in his arms.

"Just one day wake..."
