-Do we really have to go?- I asked from the backseat of the car

-Yes, we really have to go.- my dad answered me -Come on, you'll like them!-

Maybe I should explain myself a little bit. My name's [Y/N] Yagoobian, and my father is Michael Yagoobian, an important baseball player. We live on a house near the beach, just him and me, but we atually don't get to spend much time there.

Right now, we're on our way to the house of one of my dad's old friends. His name is Cornelius Robinson (my dad insists on calling him Lewis tho) and apparently he's an important inventor, owner of a big company. My dad and Cornelius haven't talked for years, and since he called to invite us to his house I have no choice but to go with my dad.

Dad says Mr. Robinson has a kid my age, but I'm not the social type who instantly becomes friends with any kid my age.  However, I'm kinda hoping we get well together.

We arrived at a really big house with a huge garden, parked the car near there and walked till the entrance, where two guys on pots asked to ring each ones bell. My dad and I laughed and rang both.

The door was opened by an gigant octopus. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting that. He steped aside, so that we could go in, and so we did.

-Goob!- a tall man said infront of us. Next to him, there was a beutiful blackhaired woman.

-Lewis!- my dad said, and then they both joined in a tender hug -And I assume this must be Franny-

-A pleasure- the woman said for then looking at me -And you must be [Y/N], right?-

-I am, nice to meet you- I greeted the couple

-Where's Wilbur?- my dad asked looking around as if he was searching for something

-Oh, I almost forgot- Mr. Lewis said for then turning back and yelling -Wilbur! Come and say hello to our guests!-

I could hear a quiet 'comming!' from what seemed upstairs, and a few seconds later the steps of someone aporoaching to our location. A boy came down; wearing a black shirt, jeans and a pair of converse, his hair arranged on a cowlick.

-Wilbur, meet Mr. Yagoobian- Franny said for then my dad extending his hand towards the boy -He is your dad's good friend-

-Oh please, call me Mike- my dad said, shaking Wilbur's hand, to which he only smiled

-This is [Y/N], she's his daughter.- Mr. Lewis explained, and Wilbur and I only smiled at each other -Let's go, dinner is ready.-
