42. Waking Up To Kisses

Connor's pov
I wake up to Noelani cuddling into me as she sleeps. I smile at her sleeping face as I remember what happened last night. We confessed to each other.

I feel like such a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I am so grateful that we both had the chance of telling each other.

I have been planning to do it for ages but I was always scared for what her reaction might be, and lucky for me, it was the reaction I was looking for.

I lay small kisses on Noelani's forehead and right cheek and she grumbles something. I laugh and kiss her again.

"Go away, I'm sleeping." She says tiredly.

"But hun I want to see your eyes." I say playing with her hair.

"Tough. My eyes are closed and I want to sleep." She says swiping my hand away.

I laugh at her tiredness and let her sleep on me still. I play with her hair again and there is a knock on the door. I stop and lay still.

I pretend I am fast asleep as Tyler opens the door. He huffs slightly and closes it again. I can't be bothered to open my eyes. I am comfy and I could sleep a little more.

Noelani's pov
I wake up with a head resting on my shoulder. I move slightly and realise that it is Connor.

I smile to myself and gently play with his now messy quiff. He lightly snores but his hand is lightIy holding my waist.

I kiss his temple and he cuddles into me more. I hold his other hand and kiss his temple again. He moves slightly showing me more of his face.

I leave a small trail of kisses from his temple to his forehead, and then down his nose before his eyes flutter open.

He moves himself so he is facing me and I smile slightly. He smiles too and lazily kisses my cheek. He rests his head back on my pillow closing his eyes.

"Connor it's time to wake up." I giggle.

He groans into my pillow.

"Connie come on. You need to get up." I say lightly tickling his stomach.

He shakes his head and I sit on his stomach. He rests his hands on my waist line. I lean down and gently kiss his nose.

"I'm up. Just give me a second." He says reaching up lazily.

He is pouting slightly so I kiss his pout away. I giggle as I pull away because he follows my lips.

I climb off him and leave my bedroom. I smile the whole way to the living room.

"Hello you little smiler." Tyler says happily.

"Hey Tilly." I say sitting on the couch next to him and cuddling into his arm.

He shows me his tumblr and we both scroll down it together.

"You do know that Connor hasn't uploaded since the accident? He will be uploading the video you two done tonight most probably." Tyler says looking at me.

"Okay then." I say smiling confidently.

"Where even is Connor?" Tyler asks.

Just as he said that we hear my door opening and a yawn. I smile slightly as Connor flops next to me.

I would kiss his cheek but Tyler would get suspicious and he doesn't know yet. I think Connor would want to tell him. I think Connor should be the one to tell him.

I go into the kitchen and make the three of us a coffee. As I wait for the water to boil I feel two arms snake around my waist.

I jump slightly and I feel their warm breath at the back of my neck. And their lips brush against my skin.

"I love you so much." I hear his husky morning voice say.

I smirk slightly and turn and see Connor. He leans down and gently kisses my head. I hug him and rest my head against his chest. He rubs my back and the kettle clicks.

I sigh and pull away. I pour the water into the mugs and I watch the coffee mixture dissolve. I stir it up and and add a tiny drop of milk to mine and leave out the other two.

The boys have their coffee differently to me. I carry out their cups and then mine. I sit at the table and drink it, whereas the boys have theirs on the couch.

I stare at a photograph that captured my attention. I walk over to the photoframe and it's a photo of Connor and his family and Tyler with his mum. I smile slightly as I scan the different faces.

"What are you looking at?" I hear Tyler ask.

"Just a photo." I say putting the frame back and walking to the kitchen with my empty mug.

I go into my bedroom and find some new clothes to wear. I hear a knock on my door and I can tell it is Tyler.

"Come in." I call.

He opens the door and is also clutching the photo I was looking at earlier. He sits down next to me.

"This photo, why were you looking at it as if you had to focus on it?" He asks.

"I was just looking at it Ty, it's a nice photo." I say smiling.

He smiles back but his eyes are full with concern.

"Okay." He says suspiciously.

He walks out my room and I carry on getting ready.

I move onto curling my hair and doing make up. During the process of doing my hair I look over at my bed and see Connor's sweater. I finish my hair and walk over to my bed.

I pick up the item of clothing and bring it to my chest. I smile slightly and fold it up and lay it on the end of my bed.

I walk back out of my room and the front door closes. I walk into the living room and see a note.

'We have quickly gone shopping. We will be back soon. x' I smile slightly and put the note back down.

I walk around the apartment and flop onto the couch. The house phone starts ringing, it never rings... I walk over to it slowly and I answer it.

"Hello?" I ask into it.

"Hi, is Tyler in?" Asks a woman.

"No he has just popped out. Who is asking because I can tell him when he is home."

"This is Tyler's mum. You must be Noelani. I was going to ask if I could come round for a few hours. Is that okay?" She asks me.

"Yes of course it is. I'll see you soon Ms. Oakley."

"Okay see you soon dear."

She hangs up and I look around the apartment. It's a mess. I decide I should tidy it up for when she arrives.

I go into the kitchen and do the washing up and I go into the living room.

I find the hoover and hoover all around the apartment even our rooms and I tidy away the boys things.

I neaten up the pillows and when I am sure the apartment is spotless I sit on the edge of the couch and patiently wait.
