Noelani's pov
I open the door and see a guard. He looks kind. Well, he looks kinder than the other guards that I have already experienced.
"Hey." I say smiling.
"I have been warned about you being cheeky." He says smiling.
Thank fuck this guard is actually nice. I don't mind being lead around by him if he stays in this perky state of mind.
"I am Jeff by the way, I will be guiding you to you daily activities." He holds out his hand and I shake it.
"Nice to meet you Jeff, I am Noelani. I'm glad you'll be looking after me." I say smiling slightly.
"Hey Jeff!" The boys says launching into a hug.
"Hey you two. I was told I would be looking after you two again this year." He says smiling.
"Noelani this guy is amazing." Tyler says happily.
"Jeff watch out, he has a crush on you." I say winking.
"I'll keep a close eye on him." He says winking too.
I giggle and Tyler nudges me playfully. I can definitely that this guard will be fun to hang around with.
Jeff starts to walk us down to the mainstage and he warns us that people may grab us and pull us. But to not feel bad when you have to pull yourself away.
I was grabbed straight away and I kept on apologising as I pulled away. Connor was grabbed by bunch of girls and he pulled himself away. Tyler was grabbed by guys, he just kept on walking holding my hand as I also held Connor's because I was nervous again.
We make it to the mainstage and John and Hank Green meet us. I am secretly fangirling inside because I am in love with Johns writing.
"Hey you three. Thank you so much for doing this, especially you Noelani seem as this is your first YouTube event. We will have a quick run through of what will happen. We appreciate you coming and doing this when you must be tired." John says.
I am stood here trying not to fangirl... I fucking love all of his books! I smile at him not knowing what to do with myself. He hugs me and I hug him back shakily and then Hank hugs me too.
"Right so you will start up with your YouTube introductions. Noelani you will come out first and then Tyler and then Connor." Hank says walking us onto the stage.
My eyes widen at the size of the stage and the the arena. There are thousands of chairs and there is seating up high too.
"You will get them all excited with what is going on. You will name some of the people who are here and then there will be some games you three will play. They will be fun games so don't worry.
"You will answer questions together that they might have and then you will say some of the activities they can do and what we have here for their entertainment. Like thugs they can do while they wait for the events.
"Then you three can do whatever you want for the next hour. Just make sure it is fun and will grab all of their attention." John says giving us our passes.
"Any questions?" Hank asks.
"This place is huge..." I say just out of my head .
"18,000 people will be in here." He says.
"Holy crap." I say in shock.
"Well I hope we can entertain them all." Connor says looking round.
"I hope I don't pass out." I say quietly.
"You'll do great. Hey I heard you were a fan of my writing so I signed you copies of my books." John says handing me over copies of his books.
"What?! You didn't have to do that for me." I say surprised.
"It's just a small thank you. We have asked you to do a lot and we know it is scary. The boys will get their presents later but I'm not sure if we will see you before tomorrow morning." John says smiling.
"Thank you so much." I say hugging him.
"We should quickly run through everything so you know what you are doing." Hank says.
We go back to the stage entrances and I go on stage first. Tyler follows with Connor walking behind him.
"Now Noelani go in the middle of the boys and hold hands for a few minutes. You can wave if you want." John says through a microphone.
I stand with Tyler on my left and Connor on my right. We hold hands quickly and wave to pretend humans.
"Noelani introduce yourself." Hank says.
"Hey everyone I am Noelani! It is so exciting to be here!" I shout.
"Tyler introduce youself."
"Why hello everyone! I am Tyler Oakley and it's so cool to be hanging out with you guys!" He shouts
"Connor."
"Hey guys it's Connor, can I just say you all look amazing and I'm so happy to be asked to start this off with my two best friends!" Connor says loud and clearly.
"Perfect! Tyler you will tell them what is going on this year. Noelani you will name Youtubers that are here and Connor you will tell them what they can do to find you guys and others if they want to meet you.
"After that you will sit on the stalls and answer questions together and then someone will come out with instructions or props for a challenge. So don't worry about going off stage to get stuff.
"You will then tell them what you are excited for and then do another challenge. And then you can do whatever you want to entertain them and get them all excited." Hank says.
"That's it. That's the rehearsal done. I know it wasn't that long but it was a quick run through. You can go and see everyone now! Have fun you three." John says hugging us and Hank after.
I thank John again for the signed copies and follow the boys which are waiting for me with Jeff. We walk to the Youtuber hangout room and we see our group of buddies and join them almost instantly.
