82. Following Footprints

Troye's Pov

I start to panic as we haven't heard from Noelani since I phoned her which was two days ago now. I have told the others that I called her and we talked and everything she said.

Me and the O2L boys have been out searching everyday and we don't come close to finding her. The snow had dies down but the white flakes are still falling down from the dull sky.

But today we are looking around for her again. We haven't told Tyler or the English crew that she is missing. We haven't told our other American friends either.

Ricky is calling Tyler and the English crew to help us out and also Joey and Sawyer. He said he will be the one to break the news to them. I can hear them cry through the phone but that's all I've been doing. I have lost my best friend and I don't know if she is alive or not.

If she is hurt then we agreed on taking her to the hospital. We know she hates them but we won't be able to do anything for her here. She may of stayed outside during the night time and it has been snowing. Which is weird because it never really snows in California.

Once everyone has arrived we all hug. The English crew hug me but I feel numb and have I done for the past two days since I found Noelani's note and since the last time I heard her say my name.

Tyler hugs me and I stay stiff. He is part of the reason that we are in this mess. If he controlled himself and his sexual desires she would still be in their apartment laughing and sat next to me on Tumblr.

Once we finish explaining to them what has happened and why Noelani she has runaway, we split up into pairs. We all have a mobile between us so we can keep in contact. I am paired up with Tyler. Great...

I can tell that he is scared because he is tensed up. I still think that it is his fault slightly because if he wasn't such a forceful bastard she would probably still be at the apartment, safe. I know I have thought that already but it's probably the truth.

We all cover up in warm clothing, I have two pairs of skinny jeans on, three pairs of socks, three jumpers and a huge coat. Along with the normal winter wear. The others are the same and when we are all ready for the snowy weather we all set out in our pairs to find her.

We don't take cars because we wouldn't get anywhere. The engines wouldn't turn on anyway because they would be cold and would have to be warmed up for them to work. So we go out of foot. Risking the cold to find our friend and in my case, my best friend.

Me and Tyler, Marcus and Naomi, Joe and Caspar all go into the woods to look for her. The others are taking the roads to look for her. We split off inti our different directions and start today's search.

Tyler stays silent and so do I. To be honest I don't want to talk. I shouldn't be the one to speak first anyway. My best friend, well she feels like she is my best friend, is out there probably cold as fuck, lost and hungry. Her heart broken, feeling abandoned and unloved by the people she thought cared for her.

"Do you think she is okay?" Tyler asks me quietly.

"To be honest I have no idea... I just hope she is okay and safe." I say walking forwards.

"Hey what are they?" Tyler asks crouching down and looking at something.

"What?" I ask confused.

"They look like foot prints... Do you think they could be Noelani's?" He asks me.

"Maybe... We should see where they lead to." I say pulling him back up.

We follow the footprints and they lead to a tree. We see a print of what looks like it could have been a body. Tyler searches around the small area for any other signs.
