You were confused. Very, very confused. Hell you didn't even know if what you were feeling was confusion. You literally just got home and there's this guy in your house who didn't steal anything. Really he didn't do anything. Just stood looking out your window and waited for you to enter before coming out all Nick Fury like mentioning something called "Rainbow Six."

"I'll ask this again. How the hell did you get in here? Also who exactly are you 'Harry'?" You manage to ask after a bit of silence

"I'm a locksmith... and I'm a locksmith."

"Hah. Funny. No seriously.

"Everyone leaves a key under the doormat or in the potted plant."

Crap. You'd think someone as smart as you would come up with something better. "I'd like to know about my home intruder who surprisingly didn't shoot me or bolt after I entered."

"I understand the situation isn't... ideal."

"Yeah no kidding. What are you, Nick Fury?"

"Come again?"

"You're standing silhouetted by a window and come to me wanting to talk about some organization. The only difference is you're not Samuel L. Jackson with an eyepatch."

Harry laughs. "Please (y/n). Sit down and relax. I'll make this quick."

"Have you forgotten who's home you've intruded? I don't know if this is the case in Britain, but in America, the owner of the place has the rules, not the intruder."

Harry sighs and sits at the kitchen table. "I can tell you're aggravated for good reason, but I mean no harm. We're here just to talk. If it makes you feel any better, I did pull a page out of Nick Fury's book. I'm here to recruit you to Team Rainbow."

You rub your forehead in annoyance. Anger. Whatever you were feeling. What was this man? What was Rainbow Six? Why recruit you? You have a stable job now. This made almost no sense at all. You were probably just very tired. All just a dream. Maybe fell asleep at work again. Well, may as well humor the guy.

You shake your head and sit down at the table, not hiding your annoyance. You move your hand to try to get Harry to elaborate. "Go on. Tell me about this LGBT organization and why I have to be a part of it, because spoilers I'm not-"

Harry laughs again. "It isn't that type of rainbow. Rainbow Six, or Team Rainbow, is a secretive organization. Very secretive. That's the main reason our meeting is like this. Private and in your apartment rather than in some restaurant where it can be picked up by bystanders. It was also a suggestion from one of the members."

"Sounds like a fun bunch."

"Team Rainbow doesn't just recruit anybody. We're very selective with who we pick. The reason why I'm sitting here talking to you is not just because I decided this looked like a nice apartment."

"Mhm. And what brings you here to St. Louis? Why me?"

"A couple of reasons. Well, one mainly, but we'll get to that. First things first, congratulations to the Blues on winning the Stanley Cup."

This statement causes a smile to break out of you. "Thank you. Yeah it was... it was quite the battle to be sure. Gloria is still playing throughout the city. We're still celebrating."

"I heard it on the way here passing by a few bars."

"Yeah that'll happen. And what makes me so intriguing?"

"You're an engineer with the mind to invent, no?"

You pause. He's right. "Carry on."

"Now there's no shortage of engineers or inventors in the world. We have several of those already. Any organization specializing in counter-terrorism has-"
