Sooner or later Harry arrived and you all Ubered to the airport. It didn't take too long to get through security as there was little to no one at the airport for the most part. You had a small breakfast, got bored and watched YouTube with Ela, then soon boarded the plane. Harry was in first class and you and Ela were in business, and were surprisingly next to each other. That was a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
You sat back in your chair and relaxed, preparing to get ready for a long flight. Well, not that long yet. You had a layover in New York, but then it was off to London. Still a couple hours of sitting in a chair asleep. You were so tired, but couldn't sleep until you were in the air. Not like it was against the rules or anything. Just a psychological thing.
"Nervous?" Ela asks.
You close your eyes and shake your head. "Just tired."
"Ja też." Ela leans back and sighs, closing her eyes as well.
"At least we're in business class for this stint. That's nice."
Ela just nods her head and shuffles a bit in her chair. It's a few minutes of silence between the two of you resting your eyes before the plane takes off. Her hand was on top of yours throughout the whole flight to New York, and you both slept the entire way there. Her head rested on your shoulder and yours on her head. To the passerby (mainly the flight attendants), it was rather cute.
The plane landing woke Ela up, who used this as a signal to wake you up. "Come on (y/n). We landed in New York." She says tapping your shoulder.
"Five more minutes." You mutter.
"Nie, ty wielki manekinie."
"I'm not gonna pretend I understood that." You murmur and shuffle around. "Besides we haven't parked yet."
Ela annoyingly sighs. "I'll buy you a donut if you get up."
That's enough to wake you up. Your eyes open and you sit up. "Finally you're speaking my language."
"Only because I want one though."
"You sure it isn't because you love me?"
"Yep."
You scoff and shake your head. "Jerk. Hurt me in the pride and it's not even noon."
Ela pecks your cheek. "Better?"
You smirk and fake sniff. "A little."
"Good."
"You just don't want to admit it, do you?"
The plane reaches the gate and the voice on the intercom announces that you can now leave the plane. You grab your bags and follow Harry out. Once inside of the airport, you set your things down at your gate and go with Ela to the Dunkin Donuts they had. You were still very tired by all means, but that 2 and a half hour rest definitely helped you feel more awake. After a brief look at the selection, you order your food. The two of you then sit together at a table and enjoy the sweet treat with a hot cup of coffee.
"So what's Harry been up to? Every time I look at him he's either napping, on the phone, or on his computer?" You ask.
"Well, there's a mission currently going on in Cairo, so he's monitoring that, and he's gotta keep an eye on the base. Sure there's others there, but leading a whole group of soldiers is not an easy task." Ela informs.
"Fair." You take the final bite of your donut. "You know, I never realized how hungry I was."
"Your donut is already gone?"
