Ava POV

"Here's your sandwich, dude." I said to the customer who came to the shop. He sent me a wink before taking his plate and sitting on one of the tables outside. My older brother Dom sat behind the kitchen with his beer. My little sister Mia was at home, studying. The name's Ava Toretto. I am 25 years old and I'm not like most girls who care about their looks and appearance. I'm from here, California. I grew up in a house with me, Dom and our dad and Mia. He was such a great person. He used to make food for people after church, at night he would help me with my homework before I go to sleep. He died in a crash during a street race. Dom was there and he beat the driver who hit him with a socket wrench. He's kind of a criminal. But I don't know what I do if he goes to jail. I've always been into cars. The one I have is a red skyline R34 GTR. My baby. I go street racing every Thursday and Friday. The tuna shop we own is called Toretto's market + cafe.

My favorite cars are personally skylines and chargers. After all, I'm a Toretto.

I continued serving customers till the blond guy showed up. He is really cute, I admit. He had blonde curls, blue oceanic eyes and a smile that would be very gorgeous. I sat on a stool, taking my eyes off him. "Tuna on white, no crust, right?" I asked. "I don't know. How is it?" He said. "Everyday for the last three weeks, you've come here and ask me how the tuna is. Now, it was crappy yesterday, it was crappy the day before. Guess what? It hasn't changed." I said, adding a smirk to the last part. "I'll have the tuna." He said. "No crust?" I asked. He smiled a bit. "No crust." He said. His smile's so hot. Damn, Ava, get it together. I began make the sandwich. Once I was done, I sat the plate in front of him. He was flipping through a magazine. I smirked. "You like cars, huh?" I said. He nodded. "Yeah. You?" He said. "A red skyline R34 GTR. My baby." I said. He smiled. I returned the gesture. Our little moment ended when four race cars arrived. Me and Dom's crew. All of them stopped by the shop. I smiled. "Sup guys!" I said. "How ya doing, Ava?" Jesse asked. "How ya living, girl?" Letty asked, wearing sunglasses. I told her I'm good. "Hey, Dom. You want something to drink?" She asked. He raised his beer up, letting her know he's good. His best friend Vince took a seat next to Brian. I rolled my eyes. "He's beautiful." Jesse said. "I like his haircut." Leon added. I slightly chuckled. "You guys are idiots." I mumbled. He been eyeballing Brian for a minute. I huffed. "Vince." I called. "Vince!" I said, raising my voice. He finally looked at me. "What?" He asked. "Can I get you anything?" I asked. He showed a small smile. "You look good." He said. Brian got up from his spot. "Thanks a lot, Ava. See you tomorrow." He said, dropping cash on the table. I tried hard not to blush. "Sure." I said. "Tomorrow?" Jesse said. "I love this part." Leon said. I took the money and put in the jar. Vince got off the stool, following him. "Yo! Try Fatburger from now on. Get yourself a double cheese with fries for $2.95, faggot." He growled. "I like the tuna here." Brian said. He followed him closer to his truck. "Bullshit, asshole. No one likes the tuna here." He said. Soon they started fighting. My jaw dropped. Oh my god, I'm so freaking tired of this. There was punches and kicks. I walked up to Dom, who still sat in the back. "Jesus Christ, Dom! Would you get out there, please? I'm sick of this shit." I growled. He still sat there, faced the other way. "I'm not kidding, Dom. Get out there!" I yelled. He finally got up and saw them fighting. "What you put in that sandwich?" He asked. I scoffed. "That's really funny." I said sarcastically. "Dom!" Letty said. He looked at her. "Alright." He mumbled. He left with Jesse, Leon and Letty following behind. I'm seriously tired of everyone getting in fights. It was over once Dom broke them apart. "Hey, man. He was in my face." Brian said. "I'm in your face." He said. Vince tried to hit him but Dom pushed him back. "Relax! Don't push it! You embarrass me!" He growled. "Get over there!" Leon said, pushing him away. "Jesse, give me the wallet." Dom said. He handed him Brian's wallet. He read his ID. "'Brian Earl Spilner.' Sounds like a serial killer name. Is that what you are?" He said. "No, man." He said. "Don't come around here again." He said, giving him the wallet. "Hey, man. This is bullshit." Brian said. Dom walked up to him. "You work for Harry, right?" He asked. "Yeah, I just started." He said. "You were just fired." He snarled.
Little did I know I was gonna see Brian much more.
