I grabbed some candy cane chocolates from my Super Duper Secret Stash of all Things Sweet. I wracked my brains while munching on them. Then it hit me. Exactly what would work. The question was, could I pull it of?
What do I mean? What's my plan?
I'm going to pretend to lose control while visiting my ex, or maybe him.
It will work.
She'll find me and release Elsie and Henri.
But it'll be hard to fake.
Really hard.
Olivienne will be hard to fool.
But hopefully I can pull it off for long enough.
Knowing her, she'll only release them after a week or more. She likes to be sure.
I sighed.
I wish I could go back and stop her taking that mission. Then she wouldn't be the way she is now, and she'd still be my sweet little chickadee. . .
But there was no changing the past. Not if we wanted to live.
