Chapter 43

Omkara and Gauri came back to OM after their Paris trip and a month passed.

It was a pleasant morning and all the members of OM are sitting in the living room after having their breakfast.

Shivaay and Tej was watching some business news and Gauri too was watching it interestingly.

"Gauri beta." Tej called Gauri suddenly making everyone heads turn towards them.

"Ji Papa." Gauri said.

"Why don't you join a business school and continue your education, you can work with us in Oberoi industries. I can see that you are interested in business." Tej said.

"Papa, I never went to a proper college, I studied in a night school previously,I don't think I can study." Gauri said.

"Gauri, you are bright student, I saw your previous Marks Cards. You should not leave your talent go in vain, you have a bright future, continue your studies." Tej said.

Gauri looked towards Omkara.

"I agree with Mr. Oberoi, you should continue your studies and build up a career." Omkara said.

"See, even he has no problem. I don't want any excuses from you, I will get the info of the best colleges to get you in." Tej said and went to office.

"Omkaraji, do you really think, I can continue my studies going to college?" Gauri asked Omkara, once they came inside their room.

"You can, Gauri. You are one bright student as Mr. Oberoi said don't waste your talent go in vain. You should join college. Don't worry, it will just like your night college. If you gave any problem we all will be there to protect you. Besides my Chiraiyya is a strong girl right." Omkara said back hugging Gauri and she nodded.

Later in the evening Tej came home carrying the brochures of different colleges.

"Gauri beta, look I got info about all the best colleges. You just have to select one and I will handle everything." Tej said giving the brochures to Gauri.

"Papa, these are all foreign colleges!" Gauri exclaimed.

"Yes, they are the best colleges." Tej said.

"Papa, how can I go there leaving you all." Gauri cried looking at Omkara, who was looking at her.

"Gauri, this is the best for you. Besides it's only for one year you will be studying in college and the next year you can start working in Oberoi industries as intern." Tej tried to convince Gauri.

"No, I won't go anywhere leaving you all even if it is for one year." Gauri cried.

"Gauri, listen to Mr. Oberoi, this is for your better future. Even Shivaay studied there." Omkara tried to reason Gauri.

"Are you trying to get rid of me." Gauri asked Omkara angrily.

"No, Jaan, this is for your betterment. Please maan jao na. " Omkara said.

"No__I won't go anywhere." Gauri said and ran to her room crying.

"I will go and see her." Omkara said and ran behind her.

Gauri was laying on the bed crying, Omkara came and sat behind her.

"Jaan... " Omkara called softly keeping a hand on her shoulder.

Gauri shoved his hand away and continued crying.

"Gauri, please listen to me, what all we doing is for your better future and... " Omkara said and cutting off by Gauri.
