Chapter 56

Anika and Gauri looked at each other shocked after listening to Ishaana's confession. But soon they snapped out of their shocked states and walked towards Ishaana and pulled her into a hug whispering soothing words. Soon Ishaana stopped crying.

"Here, drink this water." Gauri said handing water glass to Ishaana.

"Thank you." She said wiping her mouth after drinking the water.

"So, You are really pregnant? " Anika asked carefully after a few minutes.

"Yes." Ishaana said with tears pooled in her eyes.

"How far are you? " Gauri asked placing a hand on her shoulder.

"One month and I found out just a week ago." Ishaana said with tears flowing down her cheeks.

"Please, don't cry Ishaana, it's not good for baby's health." Gauri said wiping her tears.

"Erm..." Anika said clearing her throat, "If you don't mine can you tell me who the baby father is? " Anika asked carefully.

"He's an Oberoi actually," Ishaana said sniffing, "Abhay Singh Oberoi, ShivOmRu's cousin and Vishal uncle's son."

"O My God! Vishal uncle's son!! " Anika exclaimed and Ishaana nodded her head.

"I know Abhay, Omkara ji once mentioned about him, how he was their youngest cousin and all." Gauri said.

"How did you guys met? " Anika asked curious.

"When we were kids, we used to stay in the mansion beside OM and I used to come to play with ShivOmRu,  I met Abhay, when he came to OM for his summer vacations." Ishaana said remembering their first meet.

"Oh! Childhood love." Anika said smiling excitedly.

"No, it's not, may be I had a little crush on him but still we were kids on that time." Ishaana said. "Later we shifted to London and I completed my graduation there.

" When did you met, Abhay then? " Gauri asked curious.

"I was in my final year of Graduation and I got selected to intern with a famous company. It was my first day of internship and I came across Abhay, who was also selected to this internship program from a different college. We go along well and became good friends in short time since we shared similar characteristics and all. Later our friendship bloomed into Love and soon we were dating each other and every moment spent with him felt like a bliss and then..."

"He turned abusive, it happens always in the movies. " Anika said.

"No, He was a wonderful, caring and lovable guy, I had ever met. He makes me feel like I am at the top of the world." Ishaana said smiling, "One day he proposed me for marriage and I accepted, we were planning to tell our parents about us and then I found out I am pregnant. When I told him the news, he was shocked and left the house without a word, I tried to contact him but his phone switched off, I waited for him and then I decided to come here for a few days since I don't want to go to my parents in this state." Ishaana said with a sob.

"O poor girl, don't cry, we are all here for you and we will support you no matter what." Anika said hugging Ishaana.

"Yes, I am sure Abhay bhaiyya will realize his mistake and will come back to you. True loves always finds it's way back." Gauri said joining the hug.

"Thank you guys, I really need to hear that. I made a good decision to come here, I am glad to meet you two." Ishaana cried, "Sorry, I can't stop crying, blame my pregnancy hormones for that." She said smiling through her tears.

"We are also happy to meet you, Ishaana." AniRi said in unison smiling.

"If you need anything or crave for anything, please don't hesitate to call or ask us." Anika said patting Ishaana's back.

"Yes, we can go out and have chaats and ice cream." Gauri said cheerfully.

"Did you consulted the doctor? " Anika asked.

"Yes, She told the baby was healthy." Ishaana said placing her hand against her stomach and smiling.

"You are already in love with your baby." Gauri said smiling.

"Yes, I love this jelly bean already." Ishaana said rubbing her belly.

"Okay, you take rest, Ishaana. I will ask Shefali to bring dinner to your room." Anika said and with that Anika and Gauri excited Ishaana's room.

Omkara came back to OM after finishing his work early since he can't be away from his chiraiyya for a long time. If only he had a chance he would have kept his Chiraiyya by his side all the time.

He went to his room enthusiastically to meet his chiraiyya but was disappointed knowing that she was not in the room. And he began searching for his wife.

"I really feel sorry for Ishaana." Anika said sadly once Gauri and she came inside Anika's room.

"Yes, Bhoujai poor girl, she was stressing herself in pregnancy." Gauri said.

"I hope everything settles down soon." Anika said hopefully.

"I don't know, Bhoujai, Didn't you heard what Ishaana said about the baby's father leaving the house as soon as he heard about the pregnancy?" Gauri said.

"I think he was afraid about being a father in such a young age."

"May be, but he should have at least stood by her side, I mean she's the one who was carrying the child."

"I don't know, how Shivaay's gonna react once he gets to know that He was going to become Badepapa." Anika said sitting down on the bed.

"He will be happy for sure but at the same time they are going to be upset knowing their brother did something like this." Gauri said.

"Let's not tell this matter to anyone at least until Ishaana decided to say." Anika said and Gauri agreed.

"Gauri... Where are you? " Omkara's voice came and both Anika and Gauri signalled each other not to tell Omkara anything.

"Omkara ji... I am here." Gauri called Omkara, who was searching for her in the corridor.

"Oh god! I have been searching for you Jaan, where have you gone." Omkara asked walking towards Gauri.

"I came to meet Bhaujai since you told you will be late." Gauri said giving a hug to Omkara.

"I came back early for you, come let's go to our room." Omkara said pulling Gauri with him after kissing her forehead.
