Pietro wasn't fully awake the next morning until he realized Wanda wasn't up yet.

"Wanda?" He knocked on her door. She didn't answer. He opened the door to find her sitting on the floor, holding her head.

"Hey," He knelt in front of her and took her hands away from her face. "What's wrong?" She shook her head vigorously.

"I can't...I-I can't" She sobbed.

"Okay, shaking your head will make it worse." He stroked her head. "What can I do?" She just shook her head again.

"Hey, stop that." He stood up hung a blanket over the window to block the sunlight. He helped her up and laid her back on the bed. She curled into a ball holding her head again. He looked around, trying desperately to think of something he could do. He ran out of the room and back with an ice pack. She flinched when he put it on her head.

"If we go to a walk-in clinic, they might be able to give you some morphine" He proposed. She shook her head.

"We need to go to school." She whispered.

"Wanda, you can't go to school. Being around all those people is what caused this, it'll just make it worse." He said gently.

"Then you need to go to school."

"No, I'm staying with you."

"I'll be fine."

"You are far from fine." She sighed and rubbed her eyes.

"Just go to school. I'll just go back to sleep." He sighed.

"Are you sure you'll be okay by yourself?"

"Anything I would do by myself I would do when you were here. The only difference is you wouldn't be sitting there."

"I don't believe you"

"Of course you don't." She sat up, wincing. "Please go. You can go about your day without worrying about me."

"I'd be worrying more." He told her.

"Why? I'm safe at home. There isn't anyone to glare at me, or call on me." He looked away. "Go. You'll be late."

"I'll come back at lunch." He kissed her head. "Please call me if you need me."

"You'd be in class-"

"I don't care."

"You'd get in trouble-"

"I don't care." She sighed and laid back down. "I'll be back in a few hours."

"Wow. I don't think I've ever seen you without Wanda." Emily looked confused.

"Where is she?" Ethan asked as Pietro took his seat by Emily.

"She woke up with a migraine." He sighed.

"You don't seem like the type of person to leave your sister when she's in pain," Ethan told him.

"She made me. I tried to stay with her."

"I hope she's okay," Emily said, genuinely worried.

"I'm going back at lunch to check on her."

"Wanda Maximoff." They all looked up. The teacher was glaring at the empty chair beside Ethan.

"She's ill," Ethan said.

"Ill? She was fine yesterday." Pietro's gaze turned firey, Emily cocked her head to the side, and Ethan let out an annoyed sigh.

"She was fine yesterday. And today she isn't." Ethan stated.
