"Okay, bitch. I'm tired of this." Janice snarled. Wanda took a deep breath before turning to face her.

"What did I do now?"

"Well, you see, you're making my life difficult."

"How?" She breathed.

"You see, I've been trying to get your brother to notice me, but he won't."

"And that's my fault?"

"It is. He's always looking at you, he's always talking to you, all he cares about is you." Wanda pursed her lips in thought.

"And you would like me to fix that how?"

"Well...feel like playing matchmaker?" She smiled, twirling a strand of hair around her finger.

"Not really."

"Well, if something doesn't happen soon, I will make your life miserable."

"This is beyond my control."

"I told you what you can do, and if not, I can make your life the worst it's ever been." She turned on her heel and walked away, rejoining her friends at her locker.

"I somehow doubt that," Wanda whispered as she walked away.

"Ready?" She jumped and whirled around. She took a deep breath when she saw her brother.

"Yeah."

"What's wrong?" He asked as they walked across the parking lot. "Don't say it's nothing."

"I'll tell you later." She said quietly, turning to see Janice looking at her expectantly from across the parking lot. She sighed and got into the car.

"Hey," She said, looking down at her lap and messing with her hands. "You should consider talking to Janice."

"What?"

"You don't have to, like, be friends with her, but you maybe you could try and be friendly?" She said quietly.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm just saying, maybe it wouldn't be so bad?"

"You wanna explain what this is about?"

"Not really..."

"Well, as of now, you are talking nonsense." She sighed.

"Well, you just...I don't know."

"I think you do." She sighed.

"You can't get mad, okay?" He squinted.

"Okay...?"

"Janice likes you, but since you're always so focused on me, you aren't paying attention." She looked over at him, but he was just staring out at the road.

"What did she do?" He asked, trying not to let his annoyance show.

"Well, nothing. But she says if I don't get you to talk to her soon, she will 'make my life worse than it's ever been'" She mocked.

"If only she knew..."

"I know. But it doesn't matter. What can she do?"

"I don't know, ask Ethan." Wanda sighed and grabbed her bag before following Pietro into the elevator.

"It isn't that big of a deal-"

"It is, Wanda. This girl is really getting on my nerves."

"You said it yourself, she's just one of those people."

"Those people shouldn't be talking to my sister." She sighed again.

"You can't stop people from talking."

"Actually, I could if you'd let me."

"Please, leave it alone."

"Wanda, we don't know what she would do."

"She'll probably just tell people I'm a slut and whatever else it is teenagers start rumors about."

"You know, if she does that, I don't care what you say, I'm going after her." Wanda set her bag on the table.

"I'm going to the bookstore." Before she could even grab her jacket, there was a knock at the door. They both froze and Wanda backed into the living room as Pietro went to look through the peephole.

"It's okay, it's Ethan and Emily."

"Hey, guys!" Emily said excitedly when he opened the door. "Thought we'd drop by for supper!" Pietro gestured inside and Ethan set a bag of Chinese food on the table.

"What's wrong?" He asked Wanda, who was still standing in the corner.

"Oh, I'm okay." She walked over to them and took her bag from the table.

"We should really get you guys a key," Pietro told them.

"Why?" Emily asked.

"We don't like when people knock on the door."

"Oh. Sorry"

"Not your fault," Wanda assured as Ethan started unpacking the bag and Pietro grabbed some plates.

"You will never guess what happened within the half-hour we were apart."

"Pietro-"

"What?" Ethan asked, sitting on the ground with his plate.

"Janice decided to talk to Wanda again." Ethan rolled his eyes.

"Uh oh." Emily cringed.

"She's mad 'cause all I care about is my sister."

"Uh, okay?"

"She's been trying to get his attention for a whopping three days," Wanda told them. "But he hasn't noticed and so it's my fault."

"So...is Pietro going to talk to her then?" Emily sat on the couch beside Wanda.

"No, he will not," Wanda said quickly.

"He hasn't decided yet," Pietro said, glaring at Wanda.

"Well, what'll happen if you don't?" Ethan asked.

"She thinks she can make my life worse than it's ever been before." Ethan rolled his eyes.

"Doubt it."

"Well, what would she do?" Pietro asked.

"Make everyone hate her, start rumors?" Emily guessed, "I don't know, it's never happened to me before."

"Well, it's not like anyone pays attention to me, I'm sure it'll be fine."

"I'm not so sure" Ethan looked thoughtful. "People have committed suicide from being treated like that."

"She won't treat her like that," Pietro stated, standing up and taking everyone's plates.

"Pietro, please don't hurt her."

"If I do, she will have brought it on herself."

"Well, I mean, if she can't get Pietro herself, I'm willing to bet she won't be able to get him at all." Emily giggled.

"Fair point, krásná (beautiful)." Wanda smiled.

"What does that mean?" Pietro made a motion of zipping his lips.

"I feel as though I'm being insulted." She turned to Ethan.

"I don't speak Sokovian, don't look at me."

"It's not bad," Wanda assured her, smiling at her brother.
