Y/N  Your Name

N/N Nickname

National City, some may know it as the "calmer" city compared to others, but most people know it as the place where SuperGirl lives. I have lived in National City my whole life, born and raised.

Ever since I was small, I was surrounded by fortune. My father, Robert Musk was the creator of Musk Enterprises which specialized in space travel and otherworldly technology as well as current tech. Some have compared our company to that of the Luthors, or L Corp but with good intentions, and not the xenophobic approach Lex had against aliens. Still, L Corp is not that bad, after Lena Luthor (the good Luthor) took charge of the company, they have become one of our biggest rivals.

My name is Y/N Musk, but everyone calls me N/N. I am the firstborn of Robert and Gabrielle Musk and I have inherited my father's company making me the youngest billionaire of National City. Maybe even the country? But I have heard rumors there is another billionaire somewhere as young as me. Who knows? I didn't really care.

Some might be ecstatic at the idea of gaining billions of dollars after your father decided he wanted to retire and pass on the company, but it has been hell for me.

Before this, even if I was still rich, I felt I had more freedom. I went to college, I went out with my friends and lived my life normally as ever. Now I can't even talk to my friends or heck I can't even enjoy a movie with my best friend Henry.

"News Flash, News Flash. Y/N Musk seen last night with mystery man on a date? ARE WE LOOKING AT THE NEXT ROYAL WEDDING?"

Shit like this was printed every time I decided to enjoy myself. Dammit, I really hated those paparazzi at CatCo. But don't get me wrong, I didn't hate reporters. I even have a friend working at Catco, her name is Kara Danvers and she is one of the most talented writers I have ever met besides Lois Lane. I had not seen Kara in so long, I wonder what has she been up to, she seems to have flown off the radar.

I was never much of a spotlight person, I hated it. So this is why I decided to leave National City, leave Musk Enterprises, change my last name and become an average Gotham Gazette reporter.

This didn't go well with my parents. I just told them the part about leaving the company and moving to Gotham, the reasoning behind my departure was a mystery to them. Still, my dad understood me as always, caring and loving. He agreed to continue running the company and take advantage of the opportunity because he wanted to show my younger brother Ralph how the business worked.

I felt kind of bad making my father return to work during his retirement, and still have all this money on my bank account seeing that he didn't take the inheritance back because he was just taking care of my spot while I found myself. I loved my father for that, for being so understanding, but I am not touching that money as of now. Maybe one day if I decide to come back to earn it by working in the company. For now, I'm living off the Gazette salary and enjoying what I hope would be my new found freedom.

Goodbyes are always sad, but I knew I had to do it. One more day in National City would've made me go mad.

Good Bye Mom and Dad

Good  Bye Ralph, Henry

 Good Bye National City......
