Different Worlds? / Batman x Reader (Under Editing)

Forgive Me

The ride had been pretty long, and awkward. I had not said a word to Bruce and he hasn't said a word to me either. I could see him glancing at me discreetly as if he wanted to say something but he never did. We finally arrived at the docks and hid behind some old pipes overlooking the old pier. Two gangs were meeting and passing drugs and guns. As I kept looking, I realized I recognized two men from the gang.

"Bruce, those are the men." I said trembling almost slipping from the roof of the boat house and making some pipes fall over making our presence known to the men.

Before Bruce could say anything I was already rushing my way towards the men.

" What the hell lady, we are not doing anything wrong." One of the men said.

"You're not doing anything wrong? Think again asshole. You two are pieces of shit." I said pointing at the guys.

"Well this seems to be with you guys so we are leaving before the big guy arrives for reinforcement." I heard the guys says referring to batman.

I tossed a rope around them and trapped them against the dock poles.

"Batgirl, what did I tell you. Don't engage no matter what." Batman said.

"So you knew these dudes were going to be here right? That's why you were being so weird about the whole thing."

"Yes I knew, and I wanted to come with you so you didn't do anything stupid."

I walked back to the men and started going off on them.

"Do you remember that girl you tried raping a couple months ago? The (haircolor) hair and (eye color) eyes, the girl you were supposed to be guarding right Mr.Hill? Personal bodyguard my ass."

"Oh you mean that Musk girl, the rich bitch? Wish we could've finished what we started, but you morons interrupted us. Such a fine piece of ass."

"You shut up." I said lifting up an explosive batarang aiming straight for their heads.

"Why does the bat gang care any ways, is she sucking your dicks or something? How much money is she paying you" Hill responded sarcastically.

"I really really hope you guys burn in hell." I sai, about to throw the batarang when I felt Bruce's hand pull it away.

"Stop it. This is not who you are. You are not going to ruin yourself for some low life scum."

"Did you even hear what they said about m- I mean that girl? They don't even regret it, and they have probably done it to other people as well."

"Yes, I did hear. Do you think that doesn't make me upset hearing them talk about her like that? Say all those things. You can't even imagine what is going on in my head right now. You know I would give my life to protect her- and um anyone in this city. Killing them is not the solution and you know that."

Before I could say anything, one of the men managed to get out of the ties and bashed Batman's head from behind making him trip and fall into the water. Meanwhile the two men started running away. It was either going after them or saving Bruce's life. Without hesitation I jumped into the water and dived to help Bruce back up. He was passed out cold.

The water was starting to get a red tint, from the blood that was coming out from his head. I grabbed his cape and rushed to pull him up towards my hands. I grabbed his arms and tried swimming up to the surface. I didn't really think I could do it, because he is extremely heavy but in a blink of a second adrenaline rushed through my body and I carried him to the pier on my back. I immediately started doing mouth to mouth and tried to bring him back. 

"Bruce please, wake up please. Im so sorry." I said still giving him cpr. Suddenly he coughed and water came out of his mouth.

"Who are you?" Bruce said looking at me.

"What? It's me Y/N" I said confused. The blow to his head had clearly affected him.

Bruce suddenly tried standing up and running away from me but his injuries prevented him from going that far. I could notice he had broken his arm and a few ribs from hitting a rock when he fell into the water.

"Bruce please, let me help you." I said running towards him and calling the batmobile from his utility belt.

"I don't know who you are, just leave me alone."

As soon as the car arrived, Bruce had passed out cold again.
