Sorry for the late update; I have been recovering from recent wisdom tooth removal and about to start uni so I hadn't had much time.

Y/N POV

As I got into my apartment, I could see from the window Bruce's yellow Bentley speed off in a hurry. I was wondering where he might be going to, probably something work-related since I haven't been around that much since Nanda Parbat and my training I didn't know much about what he did while I was away.

My apartment was still the same way I had left it all those months ago, not too disheveled but not in a squeaky clean condition. I decided I was going to dedicate some hours before bed to cleaning up a little and finding a good hiding spot for all the swords and bows I had acquired from the League of Assasins. I had some pretty pointy things that needed hiding.

As I finished cleaning up and was about to grab my weapons duffel bag and stash it inside a closet compartment, I heard a squeak as if the door was being opened. From my training I had learned lots of things and being agile was one of those. I quickly grabbed a sword and hid a dagger inside my sneaker, hiding the top with my jeans. My mind immediately went to thinking about the Joker and trying to figure out how he might have figured out I was back in town. The thing is now I had an upper hand, he didn't expect me to be a trained killer and apprentice of Ra's Al Ghul.

I hid behind my pantry door, looking through the cracks into the living room. I couldn't see anything. Maybe the squeak was just the door settling or my imagination. After all this building is not that new. I tried to convince myself the sound was nothing and continued arranging the weapons in my closet, my floor looked like an armory with everything lying around everywhere. As I was putting my arrows I made out of wood and stone as survival practice I felt a sting on my neck and then everything went black.

-Moments Later-

Here again, damn it. I thought to myself being in the same position I was when I was first ambushed by the Joker's henchmen. I guess I underestimated his planning because even after I was prepared for every possible way of being caught, I didn't expect a dart being shot at my neck, very tribal.  After everything I went through with the League, waking up from sedatives and a good beat up was something my body was more used to than before, so I didn't have much problem looking around and searching the room for possible escape routes when my new assassin instincts kicked in.

" SO now what Mr. Joker, you crazy son of a bitch" I screamed sarcastically at the void, knowing the bastard was somewhere out there listening to me.

"You shy Joker that's weird, since you send one of your friends looking for me last time I thought you would be more welcoming,  feeling lonely?" I screamed louder trying to trigger him.

" I admire your confidence, but I must say it's very stupid of you to talk to me in such an awful way. I thought we were going to be friends, Miss. Musk" the Joker said as he emerged from the darkness shuffling a deck of cards in his hands.

I looked around the room, and several other henchmen started to appear from the darkness as well, I was surrounded by creepy clown dudes, gave me the creeps. Even, after all, I knew I was outnumbered so I had to think about another way to get myself out of this mess. I had to get him to untie my hands even if it meant he was going to hurt me.

"Oh yes, actually but it was more of business friends. See I got a nephew back home that is about to turn 5, he loves clowns, wondering how much you charge for 2 hours at his birthday party this Friday? That's why Im here right?" I said trying to get him to punch me or fight me in some way.

I saw how his face changed from being blank to getting frustrated by my comments.

"Oh did I offend you? Are you not for hire or what? The circus is paying good money I guess." I continued to say as he approached me and cut my hand ties.
