Kenzie's POV

Johnny drove the two of us home from Hayden's house and was smiling the whole way. I guess he was happy that we both like each other? 

"Kenzay?" He called and I walked down the stairs out of my room.

"What do you want Juan?" I asked smiling.

"I'm hungryyyyyyy" he groaned like a baby, I chuckled and put some soup in the microwave. When it was warmed up he sat on the sofa and indicated for me to copy. I shook my head,

"Dinner on the table or no dinner at all!" I told him

"Okay little wifey" he chuckled, "You're so cute when your angry" he told me and took a step closer to me, I looked up into his green, dreamy eyes and he smirked. I leaned in to kiss him but he dodged and chuckled again. 

"Not unless you say you love me!" He teased and I grinned.

"Fine then, have it your way!" I laughed and ran away from him. He chased me around the house and finally pinned me down on the sofa laughing.

"You'll never be able to escape me MackZ," he told me grinning and leaned in and kissed me passionately, I kissed back, enjoying every moment and then pulled away so we could drink our soup.

John's POV

"I love you John" kenzie told me, snuggled up against my bare chest watching Netflix, I grinned and gave her a peck on the cheek. I had now realised I love Mackenzie but there's a problem.....

I have a secret

 A secret only my best friend Isaak knows.

I've told him that no one can ever know this secret.

And when I say no one, I mean definitely not Kenzie.

My train of thoughts were disturbed when my phone rang with the caller ID

Isaak😑

I quickly picked up the phone and went outside the living room to my room and told kenzie I'd be down in 2 minutes.

"Yo" Isaak said to me on the other side of the line.

"Hey man, any news?" I asked and I heard Isaak sigh.

"Nah bro, but I think you really should tell Kenzie. She'll be less angry hearing it from you than finding it out otherwise...." he told me

"Who's gonna tell her?" I asked him pissed off, "You?"

"No, no, no trust me. I was just saying..." Isaak tried explaining.

"I don't wanna hear it Isaak, No one is telling Kenzie, you hear me?" I sternly said and he told me yes. "So why did you call?" I asked him.

"The doctors say she'll be well to be released in a month, but she's still not well, they aren't sure whether it's definite or if they'll keep her longer, I think you should visit John" he told me.

"Yeah, i'll come tomorrow." I said sorrowfully, "And Isaak, thanks bro, you're doing so much for me," I said and he laughed.

"No problem, see ya tomorrow Johnny" he said and cut the call.

I walked back into the living room and plopped down beside Kenzie. She kissed me and I smiled, I love her so much, i can't let this secret loose or i'll lose her....
