Malcolm helped his wife into the car then got in to drive home. "Did you win?"

Marceline Anne smiled smugly before shouting, "We won!"

He grinned. "Yes!"

"It was so amazing! I never knew how awesome it'd be to sing onstage but it's the shit!"

"Baby..."

"I sowwy."

"Okay. Do you want to stop at a place or do you want Manny to cook you something?"

"I want to go to the hospital."

"You're ready to go now?" He was shocked.

"No, Mal. I want to oversee St. John getting his last dose."

"Oh." He pouted.

She smiled. "Tryin to get rid of me?"

"Never." He meant that with all his heart.

Marceline Anne administered the drug to St. John's IV bag herself. "And there you go."

St. John blinked heavily. The rounds of intense medicine made him very tired. "Thanks, Doc."

"No problem." She packed up to go.

"Hey?" He stopped her from leaving.

"Yes?"

"You're saving my life but I'm a old man. Shouldn't you be trying to save your life?"

"My life is saved." She smiled at him and patted his hand.

"You're not sick anymore?" He tried to stay awake.

"That doesn't matter. My purpose was to give birth to these kids. I'm going to do that. As long as I do that, my life is saved."

As a father, he understood where she was coming from. "I get it, Doc. But-"

Marceline Anne leaned closer and saw he'd fallen asleep mid sentence. She smiled and stood up to leave. She meant what she had told him.

The twins were her greatest achievement.

"Party!" Santana hollered.

"Party!" Mercedes Catherine was right behind her.

"Party!" Karen was behind her.

"Party?" Kurt looked hopefully at the home's owner.

Marceline Anne looked at Karou before shouting, "Conga!"

Kurt and the girls began dancing all the way upstairs to prepare for Artie's and Arnold's joint birthday party (the cousins were born a day apart and today was Arnold's while the day before had been Artie's).

M-

"This is the last week of school." Karen was happy about that.

"Hallelujah!" Artie waved his praise hand.

"You shouldn't be skipping." Mercedes Catherine worried. "What if you get in trouble?"

"I'm always in trouble." Chase pouted.

"I think your parents need to reevaluate whether they actually want kids." Marceline Anne shook her head. "They're really hostile to you and your sisters and it makes no sense."

"I think we were surprises."

"And?! If you don't want kids, have a vasectomy! Don't put your shit on a kid!"
