Starting Over

We didn't take visitors other than Joe so he could film for us, and edit.

We had been here for 3 days because Natalie had a c-section.

I posted the video this morning.

I picked up my phone. Natalie was finally up and walking around, and had the baby on a blanket putting her first outfit on.

I opened Instagram and opened the camera.

"Goodmorning guys, were going home today. Natalie is up and walking. Peanut is getting her very first little dress on." I turned the camera towards her. She had her lips pursed and her hands in fists.

"Isn't she the cutest?"

I flipped the camera back "we just posted the birth vlog though. So you guys should slide up!" I ended it, added the link, and put my phone down.

Natalie finished and I was quick to lift her. "Gosh David you're gonna give me a heart attack." She put her hand on her heart, and I smiled.

I rocked her lightly, "mommy is crazy."

We got home about an hour later, and Natalie insisted she sit on the couch. So I set her up with the baby.

People started coming over. Jason first.

"Hey." I smiled, "wash your hands" I pointed hoping from foot to foot, as Josh and Paige came in after.

I grabbed Max's car seat from Paige. "Thank you, where's the bathroom?" She smiled and I pointed her to.

Jason sat next to Natalie, "Can I hold her?" Natalie nodded and smiled.

She handed her off biting her lip. I dropped next to Jason behind the couch, "isn't she the most beautiful baby ever?" I bragged.

He laughed and nodded, "she is."

Paige was next and then Josh. At some point she made it back to Paige. Josh and Jason were talking to Natalie, I sat next to Paige.

"I forgot how little they are." She smiled. I played with her foot.

"She's amazing, I don't think I would have know I was ready without you and Josh though, thank you for always being there for me to talk to."

"Of course." She scrunched up her face. Josh and Paige had been some of my biggest supporters, and I appreciated it.

Carly and Erin came next.

Then Corinna and Todd. I didn't even question why they were together.

Then Scotty, Kristen, and Liza.

Zane, Heath, Mariah, Elton, Matt.

Alex, Dom, Big Nik.

Despite past beef, Gabbie even showed up.

"Hey dad!" She smiled and gave me a hug.

"Hey Gab." I led her through to Natalie.

She gave Natalie a hug and washed her hands. She sat on the couch, and went and stole Aria from Big Nik.

I handed her to Gabbie, and, like a natural, she held her and cooed at her.

"She's amazing." She turned to Natalie.

"I agree. She looks so much like David."

Gabbie nodded in agreement. "Aren't you just the chillest baby ever?"

"It's because Natalie is so quiet."

Natalie bit her lip, nodding.

"She's gonna be a quiet girl, surrounded in crazy people, just like me."
