Y/n POV
Yami and I have been dating for a while. We met during duelist kingdom. I joined for fun, but I didn't realize that I wouldn't have the money to return home to America. Luckily, Yugi Muto's grandfather owns a game shop and offared me a job until I can afford to go home. In that time I got to know Yugi and the mysterious spirit in his puzzle. He goes by Yami. Oh, how rude of me. I am y/n l/n. I recently just saved enough money for me to go home. But I couldn't leave Yami. I was there even for battle city. Tomorrow, me, Yugi and Yami, are all going to Egypt to get Yami's memories. I know what will happen once he does. But I don't care. I need to be there for him. I.. I love him. He knows I love him and he feels the same. I know this will be hard on the both of us.

Yami POV
I see Yugi packing for our trip to Egypt. It's my home, but it will also be my final resting place. At least y/n will be with us. I wish I knew my real name. But I feel there is more danger that lies ahead. I haven't told Yugi or y/n that this is my final resting place. "Yami, do you hear me?" Yugi asks. "Hm, oh sorry Yugi, just thinking" I say. "It's alright. I'm sure you should see y/n before bed. I'll give you guys privacy as usual" Yugi says. I take over and I go to y/n's room. I know she's packing to go home to America. But she's coming with us to Egypt. I knock. "Come in" I hear her sweet voice say. I enter. She looks at me and smiles. I go up to her and hug her. I feel my shirt getting wet. Why is she crying? I look at her and sure enough she is crying. I put my hands gently on her face. "What's wrong?" I ask. "I.. I don't want you to go" she says. She must know. Oh y/n. "Hey, sh. It's okay. I'll be watching and waiting for you in heaven." I say while running my fingers though her h/c hair. I look in her beautiful e/c eyes. I want to marry her so bad. I kiss her. "I promise, we will see each other again someday" I say. She nods and hugs me tight. "how about a duel?" I ask. She nods. We don't use our duel disks we got from Kaiba. She sets her deck down. Then she pulls out her phone so we can keep track of life points. She's a strong duelist. I always use my Egyptian god cards against her but she has some powerful cards too. She even has Exodia. But she has yet to summon it. Maybe she'll be lucky. She truly believes in the heart of the cards.

I set down my deck. "Ready?" I ask. She nods. She hasn't said much but I know it's because she knows I'm leaving. I think for a minute. I know. "Hey I have an idea, we both like singing. Let's sing and duel at the same time" I say. She smiles and nods. She puts on one of our favorite songs called "rewrite the stars" we sing,
