right now I was on my way to the hospital to double check if I was really pregnant because pregnancy tests can sometimes lie

i left a note for Grayson on the nightstand saying

I will be out and I won't take long , I love you gray xx

Since I don't own a car and I didn't want Grayson to find out that I was pregnant yet I took a bus and it was a long journey but worth it

I get off at the stop and infront of me was the hospital

I took a deep breath in and placed my hand on my stomach

" here we go " I whisper to myself walking towards the building

I take in the scenery , flowers everywhere , birds flying

it was beautiful

I walk into the building and go to the receptionist who greeted me with a smile

" hello how can I help " she asked

" hey I was wondering if I could get a checkup to see if I'm pregnant because I took two tests but want to make sure that I am " I explain to her

" of course sweetie what's your name " she asked getting ready to file in details in the computer

" Nia Marie Rose " I told her

" okay , I'm going to give you a form that you need to sign with some information about yourself and all those kinds of things . When you finish may you return it back to me please " she explained

" yes , thank you so much " I said smiling at her

" no problem hun " she smiled back

I take a seat in the waiting room and look at the form , the form looked like this

It took me around 5 mins to fill then I go back to the receptionist and thank her

" sit down in the waiting room and wait for your name to be called by a nurse or doctor who enters the room , good luck on the scan " she told me with a smile

" thank you so much " I told her then went back to my seat and sat down patiently waiting for my name to be called

5 minutes later

a doctor walks in and calls out a name

" Nia Marie Rose " she called out

I get up and she greeted me with a smile which I returned

We go into a room and she locks the door before sitting opposite where I was sitting

there was a desk in front of us with a computer on the side and some papers on the other side

" hello Nia " she said

" hello doctor " I replied

" so you're pregnant and you want to double check if you're 100% pregnant " she asked

" yeah " I told her

" okay if you lay down on that bed and lift up your shirt then I can check to see if I can hear anything " she told me

( A/n : I know it might be early to check if there's anything but pretend you can cuz I don't know how tf this thing works cuz I've never experienced it but oh well )

I lay down and lift up my shirt and she comes with a listening thing that you can place against a part of your body to hear things

She placed the metal circular part on my belly and placed in ear pieces into each ear to see if she can hear anything

It's been a few seconds so far

" I can hear something " she stated

A smile started growing on my face

" let me double check " she told me removing the thing from me and bringing a scan towards me

" now I'm going to put something on your belly to see if there's a baby there " she told me

I nodded and she put this cold thing on my belly then looked through the scan waiting for anything to appear in my belly

(a/n : again I know it's early to identify but go along with it )

" I see something " she says

" this means you are pregnant because if the tests showed positive and I could hear a heartbeat and see something then you're pregnant, congratulations " she said with a smile

" thank you so much " I replied smiling back

She got tissue and wiped off the thing on my belly then went to her desk to write something on a paper

Around 2 minutes later she came up to me with the paper and handed me it which I took into my hand

" this has information on when you need to come to the hospital to have your check ups to see how the baby is and what gender it will be . I'll be the same doctor to help you , my name is Hailey . Have a good day " she said

" you too hailey ,thank you for today . Bye " I told her giving her one last smile before leaving the room and exiting the hospital

I can't wait to tell Grayson and aaliyah
