It's now turned into 4 months of the pregnancy
We were going to the hospital to checkup on my baby
We were going to find out the babies gender as well but we wanted it as a surprise for a baby gender party
The invites for the party would go out to our friends and family
* in the hospital *
" hello Nia , we're going to check your baby and see how the process is going and if the baby is healthy . All those kinds of things " the doctor told me
I nod and she instructed me to lift up my shirt to place a cold gel on my belly which gave me tingles
" so I'm going to place this scanner on your belly and move it around on your belly to see the baby . The baby will appear on the screen so you can look " the doctor said
" alright " I told her looking at the screen
She starts moving the scanner around my belly as the gel separated on me making me shiver
It took a few minutes until she spoke
" I can see the baby " she stated
Grayson was by my side holding my hand as we both looked at the screen
" I can see our baby " he gasped
I look and then see our baby
" my baby " I whisper tearing up a little while smiling
" don't cry baby " Grayson said wiping my tears and kissed my forehead
" as far as I can see your baby is very healthy and at this point starts at least growing a few things of the body . Keep up eating healthy and resting a lot " the doctor told me
" thank you doctor " Grayson said
" no problem . I've found the gender of your baby , I'll put it in an envelope and give it to you . " the doctor said
" thank you so much " I told her
" I'll print it off and collect it at the printer " the doctor said walking out of the room to the printer
She came back 3 minutes later and handed it to us
"make sure you keep this safe and come back at 6 months to make sure your baby is healthy again then when you give birth that's the final time you'll be in the hospital with your pregnancy " the doctor told us
We nod understanding
" until next time . Have a good day and stay safe " she said to the both of us
" thank you you too , bye " we told her
We exit the hospital and head home to where aaliyah was with Ethan
