I wanted to propose to Nia soon but not right now

I wanted to make sure we were both 100% ready which I think we are but you need to talk about these stuff in a sly way so she doesn't think you're going to propose but you are

I called her mum and told her I was going over to her house to talk about the whole situation with me and her daughter

* around 10 minutes later *

I got out of my car and walked to the front door knocking on it

She opened the door and gave me a loving warm hug

" hello son " she said with happiness

" hello mother , how are you " he said kissing her cheek

" I'm alright dear , how are you " she asks me

" I'm good thanks " I told her with a smile

We both walk in and sit down on the couch

" you said you needed to tell me something " she told me

" yeah actually ...... I was thinking of proposing to your daughter not now but soon when I see if we're both ready for that " I started off

She gasped and a smile grew on her face

" of course Grayson , of course " she said with excitement all over her body as she hugged me which I returned back

" please grayson " she started off

" take care of her " she whispered

We pull away and I take her hands in mine

" I will always " I said reassuring her

" I won't be on this Earth one day , please . She's my only daughter . We only have each other in our family " she said with tears clouding her eyes

I gave her an apologetic smile and bring her hands up to my mouth giving them a kiss

" I will take care of her with my life , don't worry " I told her

She smiled and we continue talking about Nia and the proposal I wanted to do in the future
