Grace's pov I'd always dreamed of going to Paris since I could remember. It had been my dream destination and now we were finally going. My birthday this year would be amazing! For Christmas last year, my parents had gifted me the one thing I'd always wanted, a trip to Paris. I had been caught off guard and remember how happy I was. It was the perfect gift and I couldn't wait! It was now August, so I'd had to wait half a year to get to this point, my parents had decided to wait till my birthday to take me, saying it will be even better in summer and that we could also go for longer. In that long eight months wait, I had bought all new clothes, new suitcase and everything I could possibly want or need in France. I was totally prepared for this trip, now all I had was three days till we set off for the vacation of a life time. My family, were quite wealthy, but there was me, my twin brother, George and my younger sister, Skye, then my older sister, Hazel, so if we went on everyone's chosen holiday it would get very over priced, that's why it was alway parents choice. This year though, they agreed to switch it up, considering how I would beg them every year, to go to France and then how Skye had always wanted to go to this summer camp in Lancashire. They got her a place on the camp for the whole summer, for a Christmas present, then me the flights to Paris, for in the summer. George and Hazel were given the choice of summer camp or Paris and that next year they could choose where we went on holiday, to make it fair. George liking p.e and sports, rather than shopping and touring, chose the camp, while Hazel, being 16, loved to shop, so chose Paris with me, which I was very happy about. Me and Hazel had been preparing for this, going shopping 24/7 in preparation and watching every video of Paris we could find. We were determined to pack in as much as we could in the week that we were there, this was going to be the best trip of our lives and I was going to make it good for us! ———————————————————————— This is Grace:
